Private Family Service For Michael Jackson First
Filed under: Michael Jackson
Prior to the public funeral being held at Staples Center for Michael Jackson this Tuesday, family and close friends will attend a private ceremony to remember the singer and loved one.
No location or time details have been provided as of yet, but more information about the public services is supposed to become available today. In the meantime, Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich has been asked to produce the Jackson memorial at the Staples Center.
It must be quite a production!
Ken explained that the public service would NOT be an extravagant tribute concert, but will include "some types of performances.”
He says: “It will be a memorial service reflecting the dignity of what the family wants. It will be a fitting memorial to Michael Jackson – no dance numbers.”
As we mentioned before, the funeral at Staples Center will be open to the public and free of charge.
This is sure to be one epic event.

Just registered for my ticket. im from sacramento so if i am eligable i will drive down to la to pay my respects to the greatest man. i hope this will help me.becasue since his death i have never been so depressed before in my life. i'm not eating and my thoughts are constantly on him and how his final years were. i hope this helps bring me closure. i know it sounds wierd, and even i cant understand why im feeling like this, im not an emotional person or anything, but this has deeply afffected me.
R.I.P Michael, i love you deeply

Re: ipreachpeace – A lot of people are going through the same thing. And though usually that would entail some sort of fantical tendancy, I feel this is different…its very authentic.
Jehovah's Witnesses have a right to privacy for their burial rites, just like any othier religion.
he looks like such a girl in that picture. stop using it
Re: *Jem* – I know but its really weird for me. i didnt even feel this when when i had a family member die. though i wasnt to close to that family memeber i didnt feel the same way. its really hard for me. i think its because when i think of him i think of my parents and sister and when i was younger and we always watched his videos and thought how amazing he is. also i feel soooo bad for him. since thoe 2000's hit thats eally when it all went spiraling down. the molestation charges, losing his amazing ranch, constanly being sick, that stupid documentary. just everything, i hate the fact that he dided in such a lonely and sad state of mind. i wouldnt wish that type of depature on anyone.
Re: Mad Cow – he had converted to Islam. he was a muslim. In the Muslim religion you are to be baried the same day you die, no imbalming nothing. but given the circumstances of his death i understand why they went on with the whole thing.
I dont have a good feeling about the memorial, I think the Jacksons are going to drop the ball and MJ's fan wont be getting much closure
I'm sorry, I don't care how it sounds though…FANS loved him more than that circus of a 'family' he had.
