Here's your face palm moment of the day!
So you know that record label Joe Jackson recently and perhaps a little inappropriately announced (more than once)?!
Yeah, turns out someone already got first dibs on Ranch Record and it turns out that Joe didn't do his homework.
Dixon Shanks, who really owns Ranch Record, said that he's been flooded with inquiries since Jackson's announcement and had to go online to find out why.
And while Shanks acknowledges Michael Jackson's contribution to music, he said he plans on keeping Ranch Record for himself since, after all, he was there first.
No comment from Joe Jackson. And it should stay that way!

Everyone hates Joe Jackson but most of the comments on other posts suggest Michael's kids would be better with Katherine, with whom Joe lives when he's not in his $200K home in Las Vegas. And now, with the 40% inheritance of Michael's estate, does anyone really think Joseph is going to stay in Vegas. No, he'll be clinging onto Katherine's purse strings and launching one bad business venture after another until all of Michael's money is gone. Katherine and Joe filed bankruptcy in 1999 with $27M in debt. They are back on the road to financial disaster. Should MJ's kids really be subjected to all this insanity? Or, would it be better for them to be with their natural mother who has managed to avoid the spotlight and stay fiscally sound? I say give the kids to Momma, Blanket too and let them visit the grandparents when they like. JOE JACKSON IS A MONSTER AND KATHERINE LET HIM DESTROY HIS CHILDREN.
