Michael Chased After Anesthesia All Over Los Angeles From Shady Docs!

The biggest allegation attached to Michael Jackson's rumored drug abuse problem is that Michael was particularly fond of anesthesia. Some reports have suggested that he had doctors prescribe the medication to use in his home, something that is never done.
Now, reports are coming in that Michael has many many medical procedures, many that didn't require anesthesia, simply so he could request it.
Mostly, the procedures were minor, such as collagen injections,Botox, and acne treatment. He would demand to be put under or sedated, even though it was not medically necessary in these kinds of outpatient procedures.
Perhaps this not only give us a glimpse into his drug problem, but also the ridiculous amount of surgeries he endured.
How very sad.

I guess my question would be, WHY?! It's not like he'd be high and feeling good, he'd be knocked out asleep. What thrill does that bring? I guess I just can't relate. Can anyone explain?
He probably loved the fact he was completely removed from the world and it's pressures and judgments while he was under.

I am not just sad now, I am really angry, especially with Dr. Murray. Never mind that $150,000 a month was not enough for him to bother memorizing the address of where he was staying in the event of having to call 911 – a real possibility considering the drug use we are now all so painfully aware of – it was not even enough for him do the job Micheal Jackson hired him to do in the first place: to look after him medically!!! To sort out and keep track of all the drugs he was taking so that he would NOT overdose or get into trouble!!
Well, he may not be a suspect, but Dr. Murray will have to live with the fact for the rest of his life that he, more than anyone, is to blame for the senseless, needless death of Micheal Jackson nonetheless.
I guess its hard to sleep when you dont have a little boy to play with.

I've had doctors always wanting to put me out for things like dental work. Ah, no! I will avoid surgery unless it's life or death. I hate being put to sleep. I once had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out at once. Yes, I took it on the chin. It hurt like hell. But, I do not like being put to sleep. On my C-Section they wanted to put me to sleep. Ah, no do an epi yep my husband was right there with me and I was fully awake. I feel for Michael. I hope he is at peace now. Prayers to his family and children.
One small note. I had a small encounter with him. It was after a concert and I saw him jump in a car. I was able to touch the car and look him straight in the eye. That's a moment I froze in time. RIP Michael!

it was also reported that after he was 'knocked out', he would say he was in pain and request and get something along a demerol drip. for a tooth removal, botox procedure, etc. AND DON'T GO TO HIS SUFFERING FROM PAIN FOR YEARS!!!!!!!! I suffer from chronic pain syndrome-I am in constant pain and yes, I am on pain killers. If I have a procedure, Drs. are CAREFUL if anything has to be given to me since I am already on medicine. they try NOT to have to give more UNLESS really needed. I certain DO NOT get demerol drips. OVERDOSE. IF THESE STORIES ARE TRUE AND THAT IS IF……Michael Jackson was a drug abuser. HE ALONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT, with his money, he would have found whatever he needed. Yes, the Drs. must be punished. suspension up to losing their license. Doctors like these are just as bad as street drug sellers. send them to jail with them.

Re: msloriga – the only reason I could think of is that Michael Jackson thought this is the only was he thought he could sleep, obtain rest. I have had insomnia for years and have gone at times for stretches without sleep, and you do have breaking points. drs. give medications, suggestions what to do, see if you are doing things that are disturbing your sleep cycle, but, not knowing MJ of course, but he seems like he wanted an immediate answer. He would not go to a sleep clinic of course. I am sure he never listened that naturally, your body wants sleep at night, dont stay up dancing all night. so he did it his way. I just don't know what kind of satisfaction you get from being 'knocked out' -it is not natural. He sounded alot like river phoenix-who said he was into natural things and who felt he could 'control' his drug use, up until dying outside of a night club. Money makes them think they are brilliant.
This is getting juicy….I see a ton of lawsuits coming and a few books on MJ's drug addiction….

He was a drug addict, that's why. Drug addicts see drugs as the solution to their problems, while generally the drugs are actually the cause of them. He had probably messed his brain and body chemistry up to the point that he no longer had a natural sleep cycle, so as an addict he wanted more drugs to "deal" with this problem, instead of doing what would of worked - detoxing completely. Good grief - think of what he could have done with all his talent, money and opportunity and instead he chose to waste his life chasing drugs. Pathetic.
Re: msloriga – Apparently he suffered from severe insomnia. According to his live in nurse, he never slept more then three hours at night. He ws exhausted and his body probably just became immune to the 'easy' stuff. It is crazy and sad!

Excuse me everyone — how is it everyone's fault but the addict? Isn't this the kind of enabling behavior that gets drug addicts in trouble. It's HIS OWN FAULT, he sought out the prescriptions, he found these less than ethical doctors, come on! As a society it's okay to be as irresponsible as you want and it's everyone else's fault? As long as you're talented, right?
A junkie is a junkie is a junkie. It is very common for junkies to have imsomnia
problems—because the drugs have screwed up their natural sleep balance. Dr. Drew was on tv last night and he said the same thing–junkies always tell him they have sleep problems and the NEED the drugs to sleep. If they were to detox, then their bodies can learn to sleep again. I have a junkie sister-n-law and when she was using she would always complain about her insomnia. Guess what? It totally went away when she got clean. Yes, Michael was super-talented, probably a great father when he was clean but how can someone actually think they are a good parent when they are a junkie? I'm sick of his family saying what a "good person" he was and what a "good father" he was. His kids were getting old enough to know there was something really wrong with their dad–junkies are terrible when they don't have their drugs and sleep when they do. He was selfish in the end.

it is NOT the doctors that were responsible, that's the direct cause of death…that's the symptom of a bigger problem which was low self esteem which led him to reject his black features and identity and his terrible childhood which led him to retreat into his own world and his multiple surgeries. i think his father played a big role in developing his eccentricies and his mom enabled the unhealthy dynamic to go on….what a dysfunctional family !!
More proof that if you are a celeb, even medical rules and standards don't apply. I blame the doctors as well - lots of patients want drugs they shouldn't have and ask for weird stuff but it is up to the medical professionals to say NO and remember they are licsenced professionals who took the Hippocratic Oath. But I suppose they are blinded by celebrity like a lot of other mindless losers.

Re: msloriga – It's my understanding that he had severe insomnia. Apparently insomniacs will try anything to get a good nights sleep. I somewhat understand. I get killer migraines and you'll do whatever it takes to make that horrible pain stop…

Yes, he ENDURED far too many surgeries! I can't believe we have a healthcare system that would let someone be victimized like that. And those doctors, oh my God, Pushing him to use drugs just to make some money.
