Drummer Jerry Fuchs passed away on Sunday morning after a tragic fall down a Brooklyn elevator shaft.

The accident occurred when Fuchs was attending an invite-only benefit in Williamsburg to raise money for women in India.

According to a Building Department spokesman, Jerry and his friend were in the elevator when it stopped on the fifth floor. Both men attempted the jump down, but Fuchs did not make it due to a piece of clothing that got caught, “sending him swinging back into the crevice separating the elevator from the fifth floor.”

Fuchs, who was only 34, was the beloved drummer for indie bands such as !!!, The Juan MacLean, Maserati, Vineland and Turing Machine.

He is survived by his parents, a brother and two sisters.

Our thoughts are with them.

Billed as a supernatural thriller, the plot centers around a rivalry between two ballerinas at a renowned New York dance company.

Carrie Prejean is claiming that Miss California director Keith Lewis pressured her to get breast implants even after she "expressed reservation." She writes in her account of BS book, Still Standing:

"He told me that he had paid for some of the past Miss Californias to have boob jobs, and that I should seriously consider having the surgery. He said, 'I really think you need it'…He told me the pageant would pay for it and made it clear it had to happen soon."

She also claims that Lewis ran his hands all over her body in a room full of other pageant executives to come to this decision. Lewis has denied on the Early Show that the Miss California organization does not endorse or suggest breast implants:

"We put to her a litany of questions about how she feels about herself, what she feels she needs to work on, what she may need to change, what is good, what is not good."

Carrie responded in her book:

"Actually, the only thing Keith Lewis put to me were his two big hands and an insistent request, bordering on a demand, that I get breast implants."

We don't see you running off to the surgeon to get them removed because they're such an awful burden!
