She didn't diss the Jacksons; she merely was comparing her upbringing to theirs, and certain people got bent out of shape about it. If she made the slightest diss toward anyone, it was Joe Jackson, but hell, everyone does that.

I've never been a Beyonce's fan, the only song by Beyonce that I know is "Single Ladies", but I have to admit this tribute was sensational. Her voice was so powerful, and when she fell on her knees and raised her hands up, I had tears in my eyes and goosebumps all over.

That was definately a beautiful tribute! and Michael truely deserved it. He was the best of all time and will be forever missed. However to put Beyonce in the same category is a bit of a stretch. Sure she has an amazing voice but shes not very original. She doesnt have the same energy or stage presence and her dancing is more of a jiggle. Michael is the one and only! RIP

Yeah, if Madonna was black she would have NEVER made it that far. If people had known that Mariah Carey was black she would have NEVER gotten that far. That's why Tommy Motollla was a GENIOUS and downplayed her racial background. Tommy M. is a true genius behind a lot of these artists we see today. Granted he is EVIL and cut throat and used mafia tactics but the man knew how to make stars. He knew had to destroy the competition. Sorry folks but Madonna is talented but she does not have a powerhouse voice like Beyonce or Madonna. That's why her tribute did not involve her singing cause she would have butchered his songs. She's good at making sugar pop songs. She's older version of Britney Spears but much more smarter, business savy, and stays ahead of trends but she's not a great singer and she's not a great dancer or song writer. But she is a marketing genius. Saw her in concert 2 years ago. Paid $500. One of the best concerts I went too ever. Love you Madonna. Queen of Pop!!!! Long live the Queen.
