Jackson Family Asks For Delay In Fulfilling Will

Michael Jackson isn't even in the ground yet and already everyone is fighting over his will and the money it might dole out.
His family has asked Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff to delay the naming of attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain as temporary administrators of the late singer's estate so that the Jackson family can investigate the men's personal affairs and see if a more recent will emerges.
Currently Katherine Jackson holds temporary control of Michael's estate.
Experts have suggested that Branca and McClain are posed to ultimately receive control, which includes Jackson's lawsuits and debt as well.
That is what Michael wanted, as Jackson himself named them to be the heads of his estate.
Why would someone want to go against his wishes?????

Big surprise? No. Let the fighting begin, and thank god he's not here anymore to deal with the stress of his leacherous family. Give it all to the kids who gave HIM their unconditional love.

It's all about the money. The family stands to gain a lot of money if they have control. The judge probably did the right thing. The attorney and friend would be more objective. Maybe someone should investigate the Jackson's personal affairs too, since they've already been bankrupt.
though it's usually disrespect to go against a person's wishes, in this case more remains to be investigated….. michael was sadly not in his right mind and may have been coxed into making decisions he normally may not have. i don't know, nor am i insinuating, i'm merely throwing a reason as to why the family might be taking these steps.
Gee, what a shock, the family wants to maintain control of his assets as long as possible so they can syphon off the money. Um, if he'd WANTED his mother to be in charge of the will he would have PUT her in charge.

First of all under normal circumstances the funeral would have already been held and these issues worked out thereafter, esp with such a large estate. No one can help the timing on this.
Michael Jackson chose these guys back in 2002. Given they have made him a lot of money over the years, one can see why he would trust them.

I'm glad he's followed Tink to Neverland. This grownup stuff sucks. All thoughts go to his children-who he loved dearly. The money grabbers should remember they just lost their father.

John Branca was just re-hired two weeks ago. That will is from 2002.
Acoording to Katherins lawyer, she is concerned about Branca's relationship with the singer before he died. Branca had rejoined Jackson just weeks before his death.
The lawyer for the named co-executors says he has a letter from Michael Jackson stating he wanted Branca to be in control of his affairs. The letter was dated June 17, 2009, 8 days before Jackson died. In other words, as soon as MJ re-hired Branca, MJ thinks of is to sign everything back over to Branca? Thats very strange because the only will there is a a few years old, yet this document is very recent.
