Before the public viewing on Tuesday….
Family and friends of Michael Jackson gathered at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Monday night.
Over 1,000 guests were said to be attending the program, called "A Celebration of Life."
The evening service was held in a large auditorium at Forest Lawn, and featured a closed casket.
R.I.P., Michael.

All of these negative comments about Michael Jackson makes me sad…the public should remember him as a truly gifted artist. We also should not forget that was a genuine humanitarian….he cared about people….over the span of his career he gave 300 million dollars to charitable causes. We don’t know what this man may have endured in his personal life; therefore we should not make assumptions. The last time I checked he was cleared of child molestation charges, because there was no substantial evidence. But no matter what your personal feelings were of him we should all try to be considerate of his family and friends.
