Panic At The Disco "Break Up" Is No Cause For Panic

So Panic at the Disco is sort of breaking up.
More specifically, members Ryan Ross (the group's creative "mastermind") and Jon Walker are leaving the band to pursue other musical endeavors.
According to their official website, "Though the four of us have made music together in the past, we’ve creatively evolved in different directions which has compromised what each of us want to personally achieve."
The remaining band members, however, will continue to record and tour as planned.
They want that Panic $$$$$$$!
Will the band be the same without Ryan (and Jon)? Better? Worse?

I honestly thought this was a joke the first time I saw it. I can't believe they're breaking up, they may not be my favorite band at the moment but they were! So sad : /
well maybe its for the best. their second album sucked. but i hope they're together for this blink 182 tour. or else thats gonna suck

Well there's still Brendon and Spencer in Panic at The Disco. It's really shocked me out. I'm sure it's pretty hard for them too. And I'm sure it's going to be very different than before. It's not gonna be the same. I'm still hoping they would come back together again. But, if not.. Let's just hope the best for them all

Ryan is the one who writes the lyrics. PATD will not be ANYTHING without those lyrics. They were my favorite band, until Ryan decided to be a douche just now.

I have met these guys several times and they are not only amazing boys but they are extremely talented so I hate to be the one to say this: Ryan and Brendon made Panic at the Disco and thus, Panic at the Disco is dead. Sorry, Spence and Bden.
Okay sorry, Brendon wrote the shitty songs like Folkin Around. I don't even consider that a panic song its so bad.

The band was never the same after they dropped the exclamation mark and released Pretty. Odd.
That album sucked.
This is my fav band, has been ever since they started, i feel like shooting my self right now, my eyes are puffy and red and i might become obease in a couple of days, this is really the worst day of my life. i feel terrible for them all, but its not like any of them are dead!
haven't a clue what is coming next..Pete tweeted the other day the music sounded more like a follow up to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out…so I guess that's a good thing…
Ryan Ross made patd what it is today he wrote most of their songs and is just awesome.brendan is awesome 2 but I don't think they'll succeed without Ryan. They are going to have another awful album pike their second one.
I'm so unbelieveably heartbroken. They were so great together that I don't even think I DO believe it yet. They had this power that they could calm me down, no matterwhat was going on in my life. When I heard the news I blasted them on my ipod, but nothing can make me feel better. Ryan and Jon had better make some awesome music, as well as Spencer and Brendon, or else I'll never get over this

I'm not gonna freak out like a lot of ppl here because I don't know them, like, at all. The only song I know is "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and I like it, but this really isn't a huge loss. I don't hate them, I don't love them. End of story.

I was disappointed, as a huge fan, but it's understandable after what Zach [the bodyguard, friend] had said about it. He said 'it's like a divorce, but at least there's now two Christmases!' So, it's a breakup, but now there is going to be 2 types of music to listen to now. And they made a smart decision, because over the years in PATD, they found themselves, and knew what should have happened next in the career. But I'm happy Spencer and Bren are staying in.
You guys are acting like idiots. You're talking just about losing Ryan? What about Jon? He was an amazing bass player, and you think they would like to go on with Brent? NO. Jon had amazing work, and it should be appreciated, even though there weren't as much buzz about him. But, Brendon can definetely carry on with lyrics. He said honestly that his inspiration is Ryan, so it doesn't mean he can't write lyrics as, unimaginable as Ry.
it'll probably be worse without ryan because he was the main songwriter but brendon's pretty good too. definitely going to be different

Even in an interview that I found on YouTube Brendon and Ryan were talking about how Brendon wrote part of the lyrics to some songs and even wrote entire songs by himself. So it's not all Ryan. And Brendon is vert gorgeous. xD
First of all, to everyone calling Ryan a coke head? STFU. The kid is into pot and booze, nothing more, nothing less. Until he comes out and says he has a problem with the stuff, I refuse to believe it, incriminating photographs or no. As far as those of you who are taking turns taking potshots at the guys in the band and the band itself? STFU as well. Seriously? You're seriously going to compare the talents of Ryan and Brendon? They're both talented young men, just in different ways. Any idiot could see that. So I guess you all have the IQ of a squash. Jon is a wonderful bass player, and a good guy. He doesn't deserve to be ridiculed by a bunch of lurkers, and the same goes for Spencer. Instead of debating who is going to fail worse, Brendon and Spencer or Ryan and Jon, why don't you all do some real digging and figure out why they REALLY broke up?
