Panic At The Disco Release 2nd Statement On Bandmembers' Departure
On their MySpace blog, Panic at the Disco confirmed the departure of members Ryan and Jon, yet again.
They write:
We just wanted to let you know, that the news of Ryan and Jon leaving the band is unfortunately true. It's been an amazing journey being in a band with them, but sometimes individual tastes take friends in different directions and you can't ignore it. They are some of the most talented guys we know, and we're sure that whatever they do next will be great. That said, Panic At The Disco is alive and very very well. We are working on new songs that we are excited for you to hear. Our dates with Blink and No Doubt start in a little less than a month, and we wouldn't miss those for the world. We know everybody has a lot of questions at this point with everything being so out of the blue, most of those should be answered in the coming weeks. We appreciate every one of you, and hope you continue with us on this incredible ride.
Pay attention we have a surprise in store for you.

The 'found' thing is probably going to be the reappearance of the '!' in their name. I'm sad about Ryan and Jon's departure, because I love their band, but I think this could end up cool. Like their bodyguard said, it's like your parents getting divorced- first it sucks, then you get twice the parties and twice the presents.

Awh :/ I think it's a shame. They were quite talented. I'm sure everyone thinks they 'were just another emo band' But, Idk. I liked them a lot. They were…different in my opinion. But of course, most people just think that the shit music in the 90's was 'THE BEST'

I hate how everyone calls them emo they are not emo they absolutely hate being labeled as emo, and by labeling them that it shows you've never listened to their music therefore none of you're comments are valid as you cannot say they suck if you've never heard a song from them. I'm sad that Jon and Ryan are leaving but I think it will be good for them. The demo of "Oh Glory" seems to prove just that.
Panic! At The Disco (They put the ! back anyway) is not an emo band from the beginning. Perez put their music video here and people still call them emo? Cabaret and Emo is different, okay? And I think you should hear their new demo. They're still great! So stop judging before you know them.
