Considering her displeasure with the paparazzi, it was probably a better way for her to mourn his loss.

Some people need to grieve privately. It's not a crime that she did not go. I'm not going to judge her either way. When my grandpa passed away my grandma did not come to funeral. It sounds bizarre (it's not "the norm") but grief takes so many forms.
This fat piece of shit, does not deserve those kids. If she loved them so much, she would have been there with them at the memorial and joined them in their mourning. Instead her so called dauther had to stand alone and mourn the loss of her father.

MJ's family should NOT have those kids. Everyone of the siblings has claimed to be abused by Joe Jackson. MJ had claimed to be sexually abused, but now the world thinks it's okay to give the mom the grandkids??? She was right there where the abuse happens–doesn't anybody see anything wrong with this picture? This has to be the most dysfunctional family in the world and they just wanna hand over these kids to them??? At least Debbie Rowe hasnt' proven herself to be a drug addled child molester….and until then, at least she should get the kids. The Jackson family has proved they can't raise children correctly.
I'm really glad to see the tone of these comments. Debbie and Michael had an agreement and from what I can tell, she kept to it. She has stated that she thought Michael was an excellent Father and that she had no place in the relationship. That DOES NOT mean she had no feelings for her kids! It simply means she knew they were well cared for and was honoring her agreement with Michael. Now things have changed and she has every right to have a say in what happens to her children.
I honestly think Rowe and Katherine should not get the kids. Rowe because she should be left out on a deserted island without a cell phone or internet and Katherine because Joe would have access to the kids. I think Janet or Latoya should raise the kids.

I normally agree with you Perez, but this time…..she IS the biological mother and I think she is entitled to SOME rights. That said, I think there should be joint custody between her and Katherine Jackson.
I think people unfairly judge Debbie, when the reality is, there are thousands of surrogate mothers out there.
Katherine is almost 80 - there's no way she'll be able to actively care for those kids, long term. I think they should work up to sharing them.

She was contracted to have them. She was paid for a job and she needs to step back to the farm she is living on with her paid money for her services. If she get the kids back then she need to give the money back she was paid for her service and the dermatologist sperm donor should start paying child support to Rowe. If the kids are not MJ's for his mom to keep the way MJ's wanted then maybe they should not inherit MJ's money and Rowe should raise them out of her own pocket. I'll bet Rowe will withdraw her claim to them.
Rowe has not been in these kids life. I believe that was apart of the contract. It would be very disrupting for her to come into their life now. Those kids know the Jackson's to be their family nothing should change that. I believe Rowe just want the money they stand to inherit if her bills are in default.

Those poor kids have enough to worry about after losing their father. The best thing that could happen for them is for whatever happens next to go untelevised and kept away from the public.

Being the biological mother is irrelevant as this is not in the best interest of the children. She gave up her parental rights willingly. These kids are too old to suddenly be thrown in with a stranger just because she gave birth to them. It would also mean being separated from their younger brother. None of that would be fair to any of them - they need to be with the Jacksons.

Why is there even a custody battle? Paris and Prince Michael are old enough to know who they want to be with. Why can't they just ask them? It just seems odd for someone who has said in the past she respects MJ's decisions as a father, praising how great he is, and now is going against his decisions. People should be asking why full custody, why not just be in the children's lives and respect the family. I dont know her personally so I cant say anything mean about her.
