We mentioned last month about how James Franco flaked on his alma matter, canceling his commencement speech at the last minute.
Now, he's trying to get some chuckles out of the "drama" with a new Funny or Die Video (posted above).
It's kinda funny, but, we think, mostly NOT!

1) The whole point of the video was to come across as rude and self-centered. Ever hear of sarcasm? He was poking fun at how he was portrayed in the media for backing out last minute. Get it?
2) Why would a trip to campus to sign autographs be a treat for the students? He fucking went there! They saw him all the time!
