Thank Goodness! 'Very Psychotic' Madonna Stalker Has Been Captured!!!
What a relief!
To recap - early this morning, we heard the terrifying news that 54-year-old Robert Dewey Hoskins, a man who was convicted of stalking and threatening Madonna, had escaped from a mental hospital in Norwalk, CA.
The LAPD were describing the man as follows:
"…A very psychotic man when not taking his medication and has very violent tendencies."
Now, we're VERY happy to report that the Los Angeles Police Department have captured Madonna's very dangerous stalker!
The LAPD announced that Hoskins was found around 9 a.m. this morning "not far from the mental facility from which he escaped."
He's currently in police custody and he's being escorted back to the hospital.
We're just glad that nobody was hurt while this man was on the loose. We're ESPECIALLY glad that he wasn't able to get close to Madonna.
Great job, LAPD! We're very pleased and impressed!

I live in El Paso and I have to say that I am embarrassed of how this situation was handled. It is disgusting for people to still react in such an ignorant and irresponsible way. El Paso is a great city but it saddens me that the only publicity we ever get is negative thanks to people like the ones involved.

Perez, i apologize that you had to see El Paso in a negative light. EP is my hometown and i am proud of the diversity that surrounds me. i'm raising my son to love everyone for who they are eventhough he's not old enough to understand the love between two people. If more parents show their kids how to love and not hate we'll eventually get to a point where everyone is equal. This world is changing its views on same sex relationships but it's going to take time. Come on down and we'll eat Chico's!
I'm from El Paso and comes pretty strange this happen cuz first of all the gay community here is big and 2nd alot of drunks go and hang out at chicos tacos and do dumb crap n if it was 2 girls i bet the security won't say crap!!
perez go ahead and post whatever you want, since this is your website. I'm from texas, and I know how rough it is for our community. We have a lot of closeminded people down here which make it uncomforatable to even get to kiss your partner in public. Please keep posting everything gay perez! I get more local information from here than I do from the local paper.

This is wayyyy better handling of a situation than the asshole cops in Ft. Worth, TX. At least this city is doing the right thing, unlike some others.
Austin is not the only liberal city in Texas. The difference between el paso and austin…religion. Yes it's big in El Paso. But we are not like waco. ha.
Anyhow Our City Council has given their disapproval on the issue.
The state of Texas cannot be held for city issues. Fort worh is apart other cities. I know El Paso has not had to deal with an issue like this before. As a former teacher (going back to grad school), we had two transgendered children in the school I taught at. (8th graders) They were not harassed or treated differently by anyone.
This was one issue out of over 600k people. In a metro pop of 2 million. Seriously. Blame the security guard, not the city.
I doubt perez himself will read this… but… I am from El Paso (sadly) and this actually really surprises me because El Paso does have a large gay community and generally from what I have observed anyways, the Hispanic community is very accepting of homosexual individuals, (even at Chico's Tacos) I think this has more to do with the security guard and police officer(s) involved. Its a shameful occurrence either way tho =(
i used to live in el paso, and its a hell hole,,, hence it being called hell paso,,, the police dept there is corrupt feels like u live in mexico. the worst cops ever

No matter what state or city this situation happens in, its a sad state on our own human nature. I'm not gay and I'm a woman, but to take it to the level these policemen and the restaurant did just shows how much racism is still out there. It's very sad but at least there were some who stood up for equality there. No to H8 people..please. It could be your son, daughter, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin that this could happen to next. We all need an open mind.
Yup, El Paso is a hell hole. Live here and hate it. I hate to say that, but it's true. The only thing keeping me here is my family…for now. Yes the gay community is real big here and it's sad that this happened, but it's a good thing they addressed this issue right away.

I love me some Chicos! This restaurant is very popular and almost famous in El Paso. I actually would kill for some right now! It is a raunchy restaurant that is open til the wee hours in the morning. Nobody speaks English and it has bodyguards. I'm from El Paso and honestly I'm surprised that this happened. I'm thinking somebody might have elaborated just a little. We have a huge Gay community and some great Gay bars. My thought…never cry wolf

I ALWAYS see people making out in El Paso and no one ever cares. I just saw two girls making out hardcore outside Chuck E. Cheese last week. I think the Chico's officer was just being a dick. I've seen far worse behavior at Chico's from drunks and teenagers… no one cares then. Someone tell me which Chico's this happened at.
