The article was interesting, but I did notice one thing. It seems that while traffic to your website has picked up since the Prejean thing, comments are dropping off (maybe it's the quality or content of the posts?) and the percentage of negative comments is swelling. So to me, it doesn't seem like you've necessarily gained a flock of new fans- in fact several comments have been along the line of "You embarrass me and my gay partner"- which would be good for you. I guess in the end it doesn't matter though, whether people are visiting to call you names or to offer their support. You get paid by the hit.
