Sweden is pissed at Britney Spears and they vant a protest against the lass!
Four of the nation's newspapers plan to not cover Brit-Brit's upcoming concert there because of the outrageous demands for the use of pictures taken. The contract drafted to the media outlets outlines several restrictions , including no resale of shots, expiration of shots after 30 days, and oh yeah, you can't use them at all if the princess looks bad!
The contract "prohibits papers from publishing pictures of Spears which arrangers deem unflattering and states that the US pop star be given ownership rights to the pictures her management finds favourable."
Ha! Yeah, sounds like a true diva to us!
So, if the contract isn't changed by today, there won't be many photographers are her show tomorrow in Stockholm. Somehow, we don't think she will lose much sleep over it.

That is super lame! The Newspapers are doing the right thing. Otherwise, what's next? Politicians demanding flattering photos. They're NEWSPAPERS for crying out loud…reporting on things as they happen, no photoshopping, no changing ANYTHING except what you can do in a traditional darkroom to a photo. Can you imagine the same restriction on reporters writing a review?? "You can only come to the show if what you write about it is favorable and approved by the artist". HA HA. SUPER SUPER LAME!!
I've photographed tons of concerts for newspapers and the worst I encountered were having 30 seconds to get a shot. That was crazy and impossible. Usually they limit the photographers to shoot during the first three songs. Industry standard.

I have been a Britney fan since I was like 13 and have always loved her music. She has been the only person whom I can listen to all her cd's fully threw and not skip one song. She is also the only pop star I will go see in concert. ..I think one thing I like about her is she loves to dance and dances alot in her concerts and most videos, not alot of pop stars dance anymore or if they do they just shake there butt a little which is not dancing.
I also think she is decent looking without makeup, I mean she is not gorgeous but alot of celebrities out there look so hideous without makeup

This is pretty much standard practice and you know it Perez. It is done for a reason. A magazine takes lots of pics. If they didn't add a stipulation that the pics can't be resold then that mag/paper can sell the pics to anyone they want. The new mag/paper that buys them could be some low rent sleazy magazine that would rerun the pics as their own adding a bogus interview to go with it making it appear legit when it's not. It has happened many times hence the clause many now use.
um to the rude ones below me - britney is absolutely amazing at life. yes she has a ton of money but everyone goes through troubles her career is singing and tat isn't the easiest job in the world. she seems to be keeping things together, and k-feds just plain out dumb.

FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE BRITNEY IS TOURING IN DANMARK AND NTO SWEDEN, SHE PALY A CONCERT IN COPENHAGUE AND AS FOR "WHO ELSE THA TBIG EVER COME NEAR SCANDINAVIC COUNTRIES" THE BOSS, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN is actualy paklying his 5th concert in danmark, where he has stayed the whole week, touring from Copenhague to Herning.
There is concerts with great names all the time, Madonna is also coming there often, and actualy those weeks there is a jazz festival with the biggest names in jazz.
We got so many big names coming here and staying ion lines, even at the same time, like the rcent Roskilde festival with al rock and po greatest names on stage for 5 days ina row, that petit singers like avril lavigne have to resort to tricks ot get some kind of attention, like making a free concert on the roof of the danish radio building, in the afternoon.. kind of beatles remake.. it was facign the "forum" concert building 8where she never got a cotnract to play into) and one of the metro access, so soem poeple stoped.. teens for the most. Bruce springsteen played in the Park last week, now its Britney, next week i dont know cause i dont even folow up so many yankees come here to show their boots.

Britney is coming both to Stockholm and Copenhagen. And note that the city is called Copenhagen, and not Copenhague (in Danish København).
