When Joe Jackson sat down with ABC News to discuss the family and Michael's death, he was getting paid $200,000!!!!!!
Though ABC News technically didn't pay for the interview itself, they did fork over the $200k as a "licensing fee" for rights that Joe Jackson had to a year-old video featuring Joe and Katherine Jackson in a reality show project.
Yuck!
Portions of the 45 minute interview have been featured on Good Morning America, Nightline and an hour long Family Secrets special.

Musical artist are only paid per concert they perform at so morons like Lil' Wayne, Kanye West, and all the others that cancel are losing money. And in this economy I would add dates rather than cancel them, Disaster happen? Move it to another location, if it's a bigger venue then sell extra tickets an honor the ones already purchased.
