It's kismet!

Yesterday, we posted Jordin Sparks' new single, S.O.S., which features he classic dance song Let The Music Play by Shannon.

Well, Cazwell has just dropped his new single, and it too features a Shannon sample!

His song, Tonight, samples the dance diva's other signature hit, Give Me Tonight.

This is really different from anything Cazwell has done in the past. It's some of the rapper's best work!

I got a little sick to my stomach after hearing Jordin's sample (only got through about 25 seconds) and this is no better. Actually it's worse, if that's possible. Both songs should be left alone, unless someone can actually do better. I doubt it though since the originals were perfect. Fuck this shit!

As much as I love Shannon and her Give Me Tonight I'm glad to hear people are reviving her sound -you just can't go wrong with Shannon. Well, to be honest, Cazwell's track sounds (compared to the original) a bit tame, unfinished and without enough kick to it. It's a good start, but if I were Mr. C's producer I'd go back to the mixing board and pump it up a bit more.

The album cover is on fire. I typically love Cazwell's music - I Seen Beyonce & All Over My Face. However, I'm not convinced he's a singer. So many vocals effects.
