Mel Gibson Might Want In Jodie Foster's Beaver

Filed under: Jodie Foster > Mel Gibson

jodiemle.jpg

Alright, we can make a lot of jokes with this…and we intend to!

Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster are in talks to star in another movie together, this one called Beaver. The story centers around a man who walks around with his hand in a beaver…puppet and treats it like a real, living thing.

Sounds about the right amount of crazy that Mel can handle. It'll be good to see him in his element.

Jodie is in talks to not only erect direct the Beaver project, but also co-star in the flick with Mel, meaning a reunion of the duo since their last screen time together in Maverick almost 15 years ago.

But Beaver will be good for both of them to get into, since neither has had a real strong film project in awhile. And if they jump into Beaver head-first, then perhaps the movie will actually come off the ground. It has been seeing some resistance from being made, despite earlier reports of actors Jim Carey and Steve Carell being interested.

We're certain we would enjoy this kind of movie, along with all the puns we can come up with about it.

Would U go see the movie?

P.S. Jodie Foster knows A LOT about beaver. Obvs!

Absolutely not…well you know what, yes. Why wouldn't i want to see Mel Gibson with a hand shoved up a Beaver Muppets ass………..for about 2hours!

  2. 2

    4

YES!!! With those two behind it, it would have to be good!!

Wow what an awful idea for a move. I can pretty much promise that "Dummy" with Adrian Brody is/will remain the best recent movie about a guy and his inanimate object friend.

  6. 6

Um…why does Jodie want to work with that homophobe?
I wouldnt pay to watch a Mel Gibson movie after hearing how he feels about the gay community

  7. 7

Hey Mario, between the two of them (actually individually as well) they could buy and sell you with what they earn in a minute compared to your entire pathetic existence.

  8. 8

I Think That Jodie Foster Is Hot!
And She Looks Good For Her Age!

  9. 9

    pull it off….
    I luv everyone

  10. 10

They were in What Women Want together, right? x

  11. 11

Jody is sooo HAWT! (I mean, for an older lady)

  12. 12

Sounds a lot like Lars and the Real Girl.

  13. 13

That does not look like Jodi Foster.. WTF Happend?!?

  14. 14

i would definitely see the movie sounds awesome! i wonder if it's going to be a comedy or a serious drama about a guy with mental problems and his beaver ..probably both lol

  15. 15

I wonder how much it will look like Mr. Woodchuck from Full House…
    this movie sounds boring.

  16. 16

Yes beaver puppets are known for their persistent appearance in all important film scripts. Casabeaver, Dreambeavers, A Beautiful Beaver, Silence of the Beavers, the list is endless. I can not wait to see this, bound to win an Oscar and give old Lars and his rubber girlfriend a run for their money.

  17. 17

That doesn't even look like Jody Foster. WTF happened?

  18. 18

why did you use that stupid picture? Jodie Foster looks beautiful and great for her age now. You're just trying to gather insults. Anyway Mel and Jodie had great chemistry together in Maverick. So adorable. And it's true this film title provides the perfect opportunity for jokes. ha ha. I would see it. I don't like Mel's offscreen behavior but I like him onscreen. And Jodie Foster is amazing. Amazing actress and filmmaker. Even though she stars in too many thrillers lately, I'll still watch her in anything. They are both legends and have more money and success than you could ever have in your lifetime Perez.

Jodie FOSTER IS A TOP, PEREZ !!!!!

What are you ? TOP OR BOTTOM !

  20. 20

Jodie Foster also says that "blacks are crazy and weak people", that MJ's death was "no surprise".

Blacks love to shoot up drugs. MJ was no exception to the "self-destructive rule", says JODIE !

    IT's ALL TRUE ! ASK PEREZ !

  21. 21

Mel is a great actor+director and Jodie is a great actress+director.

Besides both have been good friends to each other for more than one decade, who watched «Maverick» knows:
MEL+JODIE ARE THE VERY PERFECT COUPLE!

What good news to people who enjoy great movies!!!!!

  22. 22

sorry sweetie, after mel's true anti-semitic mysogynistic personality reveal, i don't watch him in anything.

1/2 People should stop misrepresenting their personal opinion that MG is a lightly inflammable bigot as a rational and established fact. That is a wrongful and prejudiced assumption. First, you have to believe that people are never unfair, or that drunk people are never unfair, to consider the type of incident that took place in 2006 proof that a person is a bigot, and that level of naivety would make you unfit to judge to begin with. Secondly, this incident was in reality a once in a lifetime event in over 50 years of life that shouldn't be misrepresented as the opposite, a characteristic trait. Yet it is often abused that way. When people have to twist a point to make a point not only do they not have a point, they have also cast doubt on their motives and/or ability to reason in a balanced way. Also, if misbehaving at one moment in our lives, in an extreme and unusual set of circumstances, would make us nasty, hateful human beings who do not care … (see below)

2/2 (see 1/2).. about others, not a lot of us could claim to be decent people anymore. Is it unlikely that one would have taken cheap shots under the circumstances MG was in at the time? No. Who wouldn't feel attacked and bullied if ever arrested, it is just an instinctive reaction to having our freedom taken away. And when are we all most likely to take a cheap shot; when we feel bullied ourselves. Additionally, when are we most likely to give in to taking a cheapshot instead of remaining fair: when our defenses are down, which is the case when we drink too much.
More and more people, fans and non-fans alike, are increasingly alarmed by the amount of hatred coming MG's way. Contrary to MG, who misbehaved on one occasion and apologized for it later, these people go on and on and show no remorse at all. The time that we are willing to take these continual attacks seriously is over. Whether MG is a bigot remains to be seen, one thing is clear though, many of those attacking him are at least themselves infected with the disease they accuse him of having: a hateful attitude with no respect for or interest in balancing facts and emotions.
As for sugar ****, according to MG that comment was wrongly attributed to him. The police officer called his female colleague that name, it was reported as if MG had said it. It is not likely the police officer would allow MG to say that if it weren't true.
