MJ Asked Brooke Shields To Marry Him!

Apparently so, according to the actress.
It was no secret that as child stars and much into adulthood Brooke Shields and Michael Jackson were close friends. But with the passing of her friend, Brooke is taking the time out to remember the man he was and the man he could have been.
Like, he could have been her husband for instance, but she declined his offer.
She says, "There were times when he would ask me to marry him, and I would say, 'You have me for the rest of your life, you don't need to marry me, I'm going to go on and do my own life and have my own marriage and my own kids, and you'll always have me.'"
Ouch! Bet that bruised his ego!
But Brooke feels that the proposals were just to ensure that their lifelong friendship would endure and never because he had true romantic feelings towards her: "I think it made him relax. He didn't want to lose things that meant something to him."
Makes us feel kind of bad for the guy. You would have been better for him than Ms. Debbie Rowe!

Why the constant attacks on Debbie Rowe? She did EXACTLY what Michael Jackson wanted her to? He paid her to have kids for him just like any surrogate mother. To hide the fact that he wasn't interested in women he married her and then as soon as the kids were born she left as agreed. According to Wikipedia, Brooke Shields last saw Michael Jackson at Elizabeth Taylor's eighth wedding in 1991. That's 18 years ago!. She told this to reporters after the Memorial Tribute last week.

Honestly, I could see that being true. I don't understand the bashing on Brooke Shields. I felt she was being true at the memorial, and this story doesn't surprise me either. I give her props for opening up her heart at the memorial and taking the backlash that came from it. To eulogize so publicly when she was so close to him… that takes guts.

Where was Brooke when her "best friend" was going through trials? This witch would show up for the opening of an envelope ever since her TV show got canceled.
