As more details are uncovered, they reveal a man wrestling with a severe severe drug problem.
According to a 2003 raid of Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch, several prescription bottles were found containing heavy drugs such as Xanax, Percocet, and Prednisone, an anti-inflammatory drug on which users can become quickly dependent. The drugs were prescribed by different doctors to different aliases, sometimes using the names of staff.
Most notable, however, are the prescriptions for Xanax, which were written by Jackson's dermatologist Dr. Klein.
It has JUST been revealed that Jackson would take 10-40 Xanax pills a night!!!

Prednisone is a steriod. Yes, you can become dependent on it because your body begins to stop producing natural hormones it needs. That is why prednisone is prescribed with diminishing dosages during the course of treatment. It boosts you up. People with Addison's disease do not produce any hormone from their adrenal glands and need daily dosages of prednisone. It also is necessary for transplants and severe allergies and other auto immune disorders such as VITILIGO and LUPUS.

Percocet is a heavy drug, it just happens to be prescription.

First off Prednisone isn't simply a drug you can easily get addicted to, it is replacement cortisol, which is manufactured naturally by your adrenal glands through your Pituitary gland in your brain. Prednisone is used to treat inflammation of the skin, as well as adrenal malfunction (addison's disease). There could very well be a reasonable explanation for the prednisone considering his plastic surgery record. Secondly, yes the drugs Michael was one were quite heavy, but they help a lot of people with conditions such as RA, Sarcoidosis, and others in life. I'm just saying….be careful what light you put these medications into. It takes responsible people and doctors to take and prescribe these meds. Although I do agree this doctor is a full on sleaze bag.

Okay, Perez. Normally I love what you write….BUT Just an FYI Predisone is a steriod that they give to kids w/ breathing problems such as athsma, as well as people w/ auto-immune diseases. As far as I know, the side effects are gaining weight and being more prone to getting sick. Check your facts before you talk.

For every doctor who says no there are ten more waiting in line to give an addict what they want. Addicts do what is called "dr. shop", where they will go to several doctors, and complaining about imaginary pain to each one. Each doctor has no idea that there are several other doctors giving them the same prescription.
My grandmother is a pill addict, and believe me, they will do ANYTHING to get their fix, such as using dead relatives social security numbers and names to get more drugs.
It's a very sad situation, because people who abuse these drugs get so far gone so quickly, they are often in too deep to get any help. People with addictive personalities are simply extremely mentally ill.
A "pill popper" is just as bad as a meth or heroin addict, they just come in a prettier package.

Re: Plinkie9 – Percocet is a serious pain medication. One can't be on it unless there's a real reason - especially long term. It's a narcotic. The problem is the people who sell it on the street. They and celebs who abuse make it very hard for people in honest pain to get the pain relief they need.
