Ryan Reynolds has been officially cast as the Green Lantern in the upcoming Warner Bros.' film adaptation of the DC Comics legend!!
Shooting for The Green Lantern is scheduled to start up in January with Casino Royale and Goldeneye director Martin Campbell in charge of the flick.
We wouldn't have minded Bradley Cooper as the green-masked hero, but if Timberpuss had snagged the role as originally speculated???

He would have been great for Flash because he can put across an amazing sense of humor and we all know Flash is the joker and it would have been good if they used the black version of green lantern but since they're using the white one he was a great choice. I think he'll do good in this and as a huge fan of the DC comics and Marvel and all of those I support the choice 100%

Ryan Reynolds playing my first hero that I picked up in comics before I picked up Superman and Batman???? YES YES YES and Fuck YES he's the right guy to play Hal Jordan or Kyle Rayner for that matter.
