Meet Your New Green Lantern!

Thank goodness!!!!

Ryan Reynolds has been officially cast as the Green Lantern in the upcoming Warner Bros.' film adaptation of the DC Comics legend!!

Shooting for The Green Lantern is scheduled to start up in January with Casino Royale and Goldeneye director Martin Campbell in charge of the flick.

We wouldn't have minded Bradley Cooper as the green-masked hero, but if Timberpuss had snagged the role as originally speculated???

Re: NormaJean. – It's thin, thin muscle… Green Lantern is bulked out. I know some think RR is good looking.. but he is NOT Green Lantern. He's not even close to Green Lantern….. some want a black Green Lantern. There does need to be more black heros, but Hal Jordan is the Green Lantern most know. Bradley Cooper looks and sounds more like Hal Jordan.

The man is HOT, but the Green Lantern is a BLACK superhero, so not sure what the studio was thinking when they decided on these three?
