Bruno Pisses Off The Wrong Terrorist
Sacha Baron Cohen's new movie, Bruno, has a lot of people talking, from the full frontal nudity to the stint with Paula Abdrool to his interview with a real terrorist.
Whereas Paula got a good laugh at her own expense, (as did we), the man Bruno labeled a terrorist is heaping mad about his big screen debut and he is ready to give Sacha Baron Cohen what's coming to him: a day in court.
Say what now? Oh yes, this is the kind of terrorist that would rather take your money than your life. We suppose that's better, but it sure makes him one crummy bad guy.
According to Ayman Abu Aita, Sacha led him to believe that this was a real documentary on the struggles facing the Palestinian cause. He at no point, before or after the interview was conducted, was alerted that the film was for farce: "He said he is a German actor making documentaries watched by young people. … He wanted to make a story to mobilize the young people to help us (Palestinians). … I didn't have any impression he would use my interview in a bad way."
In fact, Aita isn't even a terrorist, at least not these days. He was once a member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, but now he works as a board member of the Holy Land Trust. Guess they don't have background checks in Palestine.
But anyway, deeming Sacha to be a "big liar", Aita is in the process of getting himself a lawyer and dragging Bruno's flamboyant ass to court.
Yeah, good luck with that. Guarantee there is all kinds of paperwork you signed that doesn't make them liable.

After we saw Bruno, I felt so dirty & naughty & embarrassed & guilty. I went to the supermarket & bought The Neverending Story on DVD. If I die in a car crash tomorrow, then I don't want the last movie I watched to be a gay porno flick. I might not go to heaven. Can't help it if I'm a fucking Catholic.

I've been listening to some remixes of "Waiting for tonight" by J.Lo lately and they make me yat.
just seen bruno, and to me it looked like 75 percent of that movie was staged with actors. and anything that was not staged was very short. i.e the scene with the palestinian. the final scene at the mma match was definatly staged with most of that crowd in on it. i liked it but i think cohen is pretty much done on camera

If Cohen actually misrepresented the facts to induce Aita into signing any sort of waivers- in reality a contract- the contract may be void due to fraud or misrepresentation.
fraud and misrepresentation- if proven, of course- would invalidate any waiver or contract, thereby creating liability on the part of Cohen.
It sounds like there may be a strong case here. Of course, Cohen will likely have dozens of witnesses and poor Aita will likely have none.

sacha isnt even funny, hes lame.
I saw the film last night. There were a few very funny parts. Most of it was really crude, but I can't remember the last time I saw a film that literally made my jaw drop multiple times. If you have any aversion to seeing naked male genitalia this film may not be for you. As for the "terrorist", he's just going to have to suck it up.
Does he think that he is doing anything to help world peace by lying to someone?
