From Dentist To Dentist! Jackson "Doctor Shopped" To Feed Drug Habit!!!!

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Michael Jackson did not just rely on his regular doctors to get his drugs, but made his way around several dental offices.
The "anesthesia addict", who would search for drugs to make him unconscious or sedate him, was adept in "doctor shopping."
In 2003, Jackson summoned a doctor to a suite at the Las Vegas Mirage because he was told Michael suffered from a cough and sore throat.
"The whole thing was staged. It was all a lie. They just wanted drugs. They wanted me to call in all these pills under someone else's name," said the physician, who became aware of Michael's ploy to collect prescriptions.
When the doctor refused the prescription, Jackson's handler would use intimidation to get what he wanted.
The doc claimed that he would "see what he could do" regarding the drugs. Then, one of Jackson's entourage came up to him, pointed a finger in his chest and said, "You do that."
Intense.

what is up with these douche bag doctors? whatever happened to the hipaa laws? Now that he's dead, does the general public really have the right to now know what went on behind those doctor visits? regardless of what was was said in those visits, I say the jacksons should sue any doctor who opens his trap for $$$$.

michael jackson was a drug addict, maybe covering the fact that he was a pedophile and father of three. biologically no… but he was their father… he wasn't the soft spoken, child-like figure he tried to project. he was a drug addicted bossy male, all grown up and had severe problems…. in his own world most of the time. I feel for the children, the Jackson family is worried about the money. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY must be taken for his death… untimely? not really… he was skating on thin ice for years, it just caught up. the doctors — they did what they were TOLD to do, if they didn't the were replaced and jackson was their cash cow… just like the family. the family — SHAME ON THEM — they all knew jackson was in trouble, they should have intervened and taken the children, maybe — if he truly loved the kids — which i think he did — it would have changed things… but it was easier to just try to bleed him dry… which they are still doing. SHAME ON THEM.

WHY COULD THEY NOT ALL SEE HIM???? If Janet supposedly did see him, in Vegas, in 2003, little to no furniture, ragged and then planned an intervention, and it was stopped, why did they not try other ways???? WHO CARES IF SOMEONE KNEW? Poor Michael, it seemed he surrounded himself with enablers, and those that tried helping him were simply ignored. I feel bad for the guy, but it's starting to look like this could have been a possible homicide. There are still unanswered questions, and the doctor that was with Michael began giving CPR on his bed. As a doctor, he should have known better. We'll have to wait for the toxicology results to come in to be sure however.

Re: littleeelvis – I have a hard time to see him as a junkie. Of course he took some painkillers. If you had go through all the crap MJ had to go through.. oh gosh. Noone could take it. He was bullied as a kid. He hurt his backk twice. He also burned his scalp.. for these things, he took some medics. The it comes down to all the stress, pressure, media, scrutinity, trials etc… it took a toll out of him and I understand that he took medic.. but to say he was a junkie-totally uncalled for. How did Michael Jackson pass several physical examans in order to do the shows in London? His last test were in early june and passed it. It doesnt make any sense.. if he indeed were this junkie, how da heck did he pass his medical tests? Im so confused.

I'm busy trying to figure out who in Hollywood is not shopping around for doctors. To all those screaming personal responsibility if you have a team of people conspiring against you and keeping someone who has mental issues already high should be a crime.

Yes, a sane person would have done that. But he was psychologically tortured as a child, so his actions should not be judged on what a rational person would do. Besides, making music was one of the only things that made him happy.
