You have to look at how hard they tried to make her into something - it's not just ever, it's only 16 years (i.e. after people like Beatles and Michael Jackson) AND it's only debut albums AND it's only the mainstream section (Billboard has about 20 now)…. I swear, stats are about dumb sometimes. It's like watching a ball game and they talk about the best hitter ever (even if the guy has 1 hit in the last 40 tries), though he's the best at 2 balls, 1 strike, with 2 outs, in a 3rd inning with 2 men on. Play the stats right, and ANYONE can be on top. To add to this, during the 90's, there wasn't much mainstream artists at all. It was the decade of grudge, punk/alternative pop, etc. Lots of people made #1's off debut albums but were classified otherwise.
