Kara DioGuardi's Song Dropped

The victory song that ex American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi co-wrote and that season winner Kris Allen performed, No Boundaries, has been dropped from the AI tour.
Why?????
Usually, the "victory ballads" performed by and written for AI winners have achieved success, such as Kelly Clarkson's "A Moment Like This," but DioGuardi's proved as popular as her judging.
No Boundaries was a dud in concert, so it's now out. Will Kara's fate follow the same path on Idol???

With all the money and influence that AI has I'm shocked that they couldn't afford to purchase a great song for their winner. The producers, should have known on their first listen that that song was no good. Why did they force those poor kids to sing it?
And if that is the limit of Kara's songwriting ability, I'm amazed that she ever got a job in the business in the first place.
No one cares about the AI tour anyway. They all thankfully will fade away like 98% of the past Idols.
Good riddance to the song, it was gawd-awful. But Kara does seem to add a coherent critique of the technical aspects of the singers.

quite sure it isn't Kris Allen. His new song on tour is getting rave reviews. As is his whole set minus mountains and hurricanes lol I would have felt bad for Kris or Adam. No one should have to sing that crap.

Its not Kris it is that crap song. his set and song replacement for Nb is getting good press fyi. Why do they insist on sticking these kids with those god awful coronation songs.
My God, I hope so. She was a tw*t in HS, and even though I think she's accomplished a lot, I can't imagine she could have possibly changed THAT much. My money's on the fact that she is still just as annoying in person (we all KNOW she's annoying on AI) now.
GOD - I hope so! She was a massve tw*t in HS, and I can't even imagine the possiblity that she could have changed completely even thoug it's been a long time. Although I think she's accomplished a lot, she was SO annoying and bitchy then - and we all have seen her in action on AI. Good luck to her - but can you PLEASE get her out of my tv???

In terms of knowledge and industry smarts, Kara is #1 on teh show. The rest of them are window dressing, including Ryan, Paula, Randy, Dunkleman (yeah, he wishes) and that dumbass Nigel.

You're as late as a pregnant girl's period on this one, Princess. This happened about a week ago. He replaced Kara's song with "All These Things That I’ve Done" by the Killers.
kara needs to be fired because she sucks!! her judging sucks and her input doesn't really matter because all she does is write shitty songs!! how the hell did her shitty song get passed the producers of AI is beyond me! they must have been so high they though it was a masterpiece! those producers and kara need to be fired before nobody watches AI anymore!!!

Though I think Kris sounded absolutely amazing signing the song, the song itself kind of was a dud. Now that I think about it, the only reason I liked it was because of Kris' great voice. Kara wasn't a bad judge though, I think she has more credentials to give expert advice than Paula…

Kris has to follow Adam's performances, which is a problem as it is…having to sing NB wasn't helping!! Kris is cool though, for those who like that kind of music.

The biggest reason I could not stand to watch the last season of Idol (and I watched every other one till then) was Kara!!!!!!! I could not stand her!!!! I am praying they get rid of her so I can watch the next season!

Oh thank God! I was backing Glambert for the win and was actually relieved when he lost because it meant he wouldn't have to sing that piece of shit song! So now no one does. Phew.

I agree "No Boundaries" kinda sucks but, most of the Idol "coronation" songs are ultra plastic-y and boring. It doesn't matter so much what Kris sings — in everything I've read, it seems like 80% of the audience is there to see (fabulously talented first-ever gay sex god rock star) Adam Lambert and being on the show AFTER him is the most unfortunate gig ever. I'm going to the LA show. Going to get there at intermission, watch Allison, go to the bathroom during Danny Gokey's set, see ADAM!!!, see Kris do "Heartless" and beat the traffic home. From what I've read online, that's the plan of thousands of other people, too..
If Adam was singing it.. it would be waaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Kris is a great singer, but not on the same level as Adam. But c'mon when do they start writing these shit "victory" songs, 2 days before the finale? The only one that was good was Kelly Clarkson's
