Brandy Pays Up To Crash Survivor

Three years late, but at least she is paying up.
How she is paying up, we still have no idea.
Where is this money coming from?
Brandy settled a lawsuit this morning filed by a survivor of her fatal 2006 car crash that killed the driver of another car. This woman, Mallory Ham, suffered extreme facial injuries from the crash, including a "severely broken nose."
The suit was settled for an undisclosed amount.

Why is it any of your business "how" she pays up? Why is she "3 years late"? You know nothing, as usual, but you sure do like damn people to hell. Insurance companies and attorneys handle this stuff, not the individual. Stop trying to paint her as some kind of reckless asshole. If you actually read the accident report, like you forgot to do when you were trying to ruin Shia L., you would know that it wasn't just Brandy who didn't stop in time and that this portion of the freeway is famous for these kinds of accidents because of its poor ability to transition drivers from one freeway to the next.
Wow, this is so unfair how she is being portrayed. Brandy had an accident - she wasn't negligent in any way, except that she rear ended somebody on the 405 freeway. I believe someone died unfortunately, and she has been paying for it ever since. The family of the victims have been going after her ever since then in a really big way, and it's diminished her career. Think about how many times you've either been in a seemingly harmless accident or close to having one. Bad things happen people.

When you're involved in a car accident, any resulting lawsuit is handled by your car insurance carrier on your behalf. So the answer is, Brandy's insurance company settled the lawsuit. The only way she paid anything is if the settlement amount exceeded the policy limits.
I wonder how she feels about killing another person by accident and severely injuring another…she must feel terrible.

You're late to the rodeo on this one. She paid $600,000 total to the victims two children ($300,000 ea.) and the sum was paid through her insurance company. I'm sure she was covered by umbrella insurance like most financially organized people have.
