The ultimate flip-flopper!!!
Norma McCorvey, also known as Jane Roe, the woman at the center of the 1973 abortion ruling Roe vs. Wade, was arrested on Monday for disturbing the Supreme Court confirmation hearing of Sonia Sotomayor.
McCorvey and another protester were taken away as they made their way into the Senate hearing room and began screaming during Sen. Al Franken's opening statement.
Since the Supreme Court's landmark Roe vs. Wade decision, McCorvey has converted to Christianity and become a radical anti-abortion activist.
She has even denied the circumstances in which her case was based.
The former plaintiff claimed that her pregnancy was the result of a rape, a story she now claims is false.
Since Roe v. Wade took three years before it reached the Supreme Court, McCorvey gave birth to the baby in question.
In 1992, McCorvey and her longtime partner Connie Gonzales split after coming out publicly three years prior. Two years later, she published a memoir of the court battle titled I Am Roe and just one year later, she joined the anti-abortion movement.
She's no longer gay, too?!
What ever happened to "live and let live?!"
