Sorry To Say, Girls Aloud Are On Hiatus

Hard to have a group when one of your girls leaves you high and dry!
Is this the beginning of the end?
Sarah Harding shockingly announced this morning that she will be leaving Girls Aloud for a year to pursue an acting career.
She says: "Acting is good for me because I've always been called a drama queen."
No argument here.
With Sarah out of commission and Cheryl Cole judging X-Factor and Nadine Coyle working on a solo album, we don't see the Girls coming back from this.
Hope we're wrong!

This has been known for some time now here in the UK Perez, they are all pursuing different careers for a while, but they still have like 2 or 3 albums left on there contract!
perez you are late on this one. they were already taking a year hiatus to pursue solo endeavors after the out of control tour. they just signed a new contract for 3 more albums and the new album is coming out autumn 2011. they are not breaking up!
i hope its not true! they said thered be a new album in 2010 and they signed a contract saying thered be 3 more albums!
I could care less about these chicks. Really. NEXT!

OMG PEREZ, you are a dumbass! They said MONTHS ago (before their tour) that they were taking a break! Check out the official statement they realised today confirming they are NOT splitting up! Jesus you are so slow sometimes!!
i'm british and let me be clear about sarahs acting job. it is a shitty recurring part on some soap opera type thing on bbc2. no one under the age of 55 watches bbc2. she will just have ruined her career if her acting fails. which it probably will because she isnt a good actress at all.

maybe this will give people time to hear better music, they're not that great. I got pissed when I saw them re do teenage dirtbag by wheatus. then i really knew that pop music was a fungus.
i read the uk tabloids sites everyday (the sun & daily mail) & i buy each week ok & hello mags. cheryl is in LA right now working on her solo album & sarah is doing the acting, while nadine has a line of pubs/resturants in Cali. BUT GA has signed a contract w/ their label to do 3 more albums including one set for release next year. cheryl is also doing a reality singing show in the uk. the only one that seems to make alot of money outside of doing GA is cheryl, so i can't see them breaking up anytime soon. especially when none of them except nadine has a real singing voice. with cheryl it's more of her looks & the fact that she's famous for being being famous is why she has so many offers thrown her way to do showbiz things & make money.

PEREZ, THEY ARE NOT BREAKING UP! THEY ARE ALL TAKING A UP TO A YEAR OFF FROM THE BAND TO PURSUE OTHER THINGS AS THEY'VE BEEN DOING THE MUSIC THING FOR AROUND 7 YEARS AND JUST WANT A BIT OF A REST FROM IT BUT THEY STILL LOVE IT! PLUS THEY ARE CONTRACTED FOR MORE ALBUMS ANYWAY, SO IT CANT BE THE END!
