We thought he disappeared!!
Rumors were floating around Portland (and on Twitter) that comedian Dave Chappelle was putting on a free stand-up show in Pioneer Square in downtown Portland early Wednesday morning/late Tuesday night.
Thousands of people showed up and at 1am, Chappelle appeared by himself with a mic and an amp!
Very cool!
Unfortunately, the sound was only loud enough for the first few rows to hear, so the funnyman left after only an hour.
He still has a huge following!!!

Not such a big thing. I saw Dave at the Comedy Celler in NYC just before Christmas last year. He did an hour and was great. We were front row center.

It was INSANE!! By the time we got there it was PACKED. The police started breaking things up so we just left before a riot started.
In Portland it's Pioneer Courthouse Square which is considered a town square and Seattle it's just Pioneer Square which is a neighborhood.
Chappelle, miss him, love him, and want him back on TV!
