      I'm glad I'm a private citizen. To have all my private, awful moments broadcast for all to see and make comments about. That was so awful. He was just working…doing his best and his employer didn't make sure he was safe. They paid him 1.5 million which he donated to charity. I would be suing them upside and down. Where the heck was someone standing by up the stairs to make sure it didn't happen. What idiot set the darn thing off too soon? He was on the sixth take. Ever the professional he would have done it over and over again until it was perfect. He was just a kid then. I saw his dermatologist on Larry King live. He said MJ endured years of having his skin stretched with balloons under his scalp so they could cut out the dead areas and stitch his scalp back. Apparently, this went on for a long time until he demanded that these doctors stop. It's also supposedly one of the reasons why he started wearing hats in public (while they stretched his scalp). He also had lupus and autoimmune disease which can kill you. Causes joint pain. The disease basically turns your body against itself. Attacks your joints, hair follicles, causes a "butterfly" rash across your face, internal organs. His hands looked swollen a lot. When you are in the public eye, you can never look bad or sick. You never heard him in public screaming nasty accusations at Pepsi and filing a lawsuit against them. Twenty-five years later I would still be suing their asses.

      i think i rememebr well where i was when this happened to Michael. the Bronx was in mourning. Many thought he was dead. But how can i rememebr this if i was no more than 2 years old? weird huh? I think i may have been named after him.

      BUT If you really watch the video you will see he is wearing a hair piece . when it gets to frame 100 when he gets to the bottom of the stairs and he spins the hair piece is visible at frame 117 when he gets up off the floor his hair piece is on the left side of his head . and you can see his bald spot . in no way am i saying that he didn't receive some burns was it enough to get him addicted to drugs? my son was burnt Very bad on his arm and side and he didn't get addicted I have photos that will show you that it was a real bad burn ,, Im just saying , he chose to use the drugs he did .

      Geez, we do not need to see this. That's embarrassing to him dead or alive. Despite all the things that have been said about MJ and all the accusations made against him, he's still the greatest entertainer ever. And I don't know him personally, but I know he's a good person. The media just tries too damn hard to pull out the evil in this man, which is not much so they have to make up stories and post stupid crap like this.

      I was always skeptikal that this wasn't a stunt planned by Jackson so he could go in to ge the plastic surgery he wanted without the public knowing. Now after seeing the video I'm convinced. This "accident" happened at the peak of his carreer which brought tons more publicity to Jackson and Pepsi, than and regular commercial would. It also set him up for a tremendous "comeback" on his next album. His skin alot lighter I might add. Jackson usually wore a wig, so this was probabaly a wig in the stunt. If you look at it from the back before he goes down the stairs you could see what looks like pyro gel in the spots it catches fire. He goes for ten seconds without "realizing" he's on fire. He does three quick spins to fan the falmes and is quickly jumped on by guys that look like stuntmen or pyro type guys. He's also wearing a heavy jacket that looks flame proof and even his trademark "glove" could have been used to pat out the flames. Even when you see his burnt "scalp" or what could be the burnt wig, Jackson is never screaming or cring in pain. Even afterward hes in a streatcher alert raising his trademark glove like a hero. Its funny this back shot of the "ACCIDENT", suddenly appears 25 years later after Michael is gone and theres millions to be made off of it by someone. IT was a PUBLICTY STUNT ahead of its time. Thats my theory. NOW watch the video again from a different perspective!

      Why should he take it down when all kinds of news sites are the ones putting up in the first place? No one seems to care when US Weekly posts this kind of stuff, but when Perez Hilton does it it is horrible and disrespectful.

      Anyway, this video is terrifyingly sad. I believe this could have started his addiction… Burns hurt like hell and painkillers feel like Heaven. Who wouldn't become addicted after something so horrifying? I know I would.
