With its 6th installment, the Harry Potter franchise is projected to surpass the all-time top-grosser film franchise, James Bond, at the box office.
Over the course of 5 films, Potter has grossed $4.48 billion while Bond holds the record at $5 billion over 22 movies - starting with 1962's Dr No.
With several midnight screenings already sold out in advance, the boy wizard is expected to overtake Bond by the end of the month.

The books are amazing, however this movie falls flat. It leaves two major plotlines out, adds things that never happened, and the scenes are very choppy. Not to mention the abrupt ending.
The acting and the first 2/3 of the movie were very good… I'm not too sure what happened at the end.
Not a big fan, and very disappointed that I waited over a year to see it.
They pushed the movie back to make it better… I'd hate to see what it was like before.

I really think it was an excellent film, for a Potter adaption, I mean. Of course some of my favorite scenes were cut and the Burrow thing was stupid, but it's the first Potter film I can honestly say to be a good one.
Potter may take the top spot soon/now, but the franchise only has Deathly Hallows left.
Bond is obviously going to go on longer than that.

Im NOT surprised. I've already seen it twice and I plan on seeing it atleast 2 more times before it leaves the theaters. The film is BRILLIANT!

Let's be honest the only obsession that half the world has with Twilight is Rob P…who by the way I don't see the whole thing with..he's average at best!!!….but the movie itself does absolutely NO justice to the book…in face it's almost a mockery…now i understand that most movies adapted from books are not exactly true to the novel..but Harry Potter does as must justice as possible and deserves all the glory it gets!!
