Mischa Barton is none too pleased with the cover of the recent issue of UK celeb weekly Heat that had her mug on the cover. Nor would we be, if there was a side-by-side of us looking like two versions of an extreme hot mess!
So, Mush Mush is firing back and setting the record straight about her weight and the "puffy" pictures. The trainwreck tells Life & Style, “In terms of my weight, I’ve been a sample size since the age of 16, when I first began working on The O.C."
Alright, we'll buy that. We also know there are different requirements for sample sizes in baby clothes and plus size lines, and the photos look like she has been working both angles.
Furthermore, she isn't going to let our scrutiny of her fluctuating ass bother her shining demeanor: "I’m healthy and comfortable in my own skin, and I wish the same for anyone else who feels pressured to adhere to a certain standard.”
Comfortable, perhaps. Healthy, no chance. We've got our own file folder full of posts to prove otherwise!
But it's nice to see her standing up for herself. It means she took the time out of her busy schedule of clubbing and "snacks" to form coherent sentences. Good for her!

There is a LARGE range when you say "sample size" hon. That term is completely variable dependent upon designer, type of attire, etc. Get real!

she is rude for acting insulted that putting on weight and being a little healthier is such a horrible thing. most of the world does not fit into sample sizes and so the fact shes angry and uses that as her argument as to say she is super duper thin is really a slap in the face to all of us who would never fit into a sample size.

pretty sure anyone would respond to this sort of thing with a little bit of a 'snappy' attitude. hearing people insult your physical appearance and your weight constantly would be harsh, especially when one minute you're too thin and the next your too big. there is no pleasing the tabloids, and i don't blame her for being insulted. in recent pictures she looks fine to me, she's still thin just not a toothpick anymore and that's healthy.
