Twilight Comic Book In The Works
Something to add to your collection, Twilighters!
A panel from the new Twilight comic book was unveiled this morning, giving all the die-hard fans a taste of what's to come.
Little Brown, the publishers behind the Twilight Saga, will be publishing Twilight in a graphic-novel form, with author Stephenie Meyer right at the helm "reviewing every panel."
The sketch above comes from the famous Biology scene, where Bella and Edward talk for the first time. We understand the illustrator, Korean artist Young Kim, is approaching the character renderings with more regards to the book rather than the films. That's why the Bella seen above looks really nothing like Kristen Stewart. But the Edward does have a hint of R-Patz's tousled hair, which we approve of.
No word yet as to when this will become available or if the other books will be developed into comics as well. We guess they'll see how the first one goes and take it from there.

Hmmm luv a graphic-novel, a-la Frank Miller, but don't think I would bother with this even being a fan. Rather read the novels as written, and use my own imagery for it all.

If it stays true to the books, yea, I'd be all over that. And R-patz had EDWARD'S tousled, hair, not vice versa.
I like these two renditions of the characters much better than Robert and Kristen. Thank god SOMEBODY wants Twilight to stay true to the book - where the characters were actually attractive.
God Perez, you really need to start getting your facts straight. In the book Edward always had tousled hair before Robert even came along.

I can't wait! I was hoping they would do this all along. Although I wish that Bella didn't look so anime. I picture Alexis Bledel when I think of Bella so I wish she had more of her look. But regardless I'll definitely get them as long as they don't cut anything out, it should be exactly like the book and not like the movie.

It's gonna look way to anime. And it won't come out in the UK anyway. Which really pisses me off about Twilight. I am a HUGE fan but all the competitions to win really cool stuff is only in the US and so is most of the merchandise. It's really annoying.

It's not even that great. If I start talking about the flaws of the Twilight saga AND the movie, it will take me days to finish!! I will not buy that shit, I didn't even buy the movie!! And I regret that I spent money on crap a.k.a the twilight books….
But if I had Stephenie Meyer's perspective on this one, I'd do the same.. I mean I just wrote a bunch of stupid novels and people have gone mad.. I would look for my own best interest and if it includes more money to my piggy bank, then why not?
