Yuck! Signs of Skin Damage and Needle Punctures On Michael Jackson's Leg

Photos of Michael Jackson have just been released, showcasing a serious injury on the superstar's right leg. The photo is from 2002 and the injury in question may have resulted from contact with a "highly caustic, acidic fluid," which would damage the skin and cause it to turn black. An experts tells ABC News:

"On the photographs of Michael Jackson, it looks like there was necrosis on his lower leg where there might have been fluid that went into his lower leg. It looks like there are multiple puncture points from IV placement… If, in fact, he had an IV here, and the IV fluid, which may have been acidic fluid, went into his skin, it might may have, in fact, destroyed the skin. That's all dead skin that would then make an ulceration underneath that skin."

From the photo, along with the ulceration, there are evident needle markings and punctures along his skin. This new evidence just adds another log to the fire, fueling the rumor that Michael had a serious drug addiction.

It looks like it was really painful, poor guy.

      Needle probably broke off again.

I'm not sure I believe these pics are of him. These feet resemble that of an 80 yr. old with deterioration due to diabetes or something like that. Look at the age spots, I doubt MJ had those quite yet.

    3. 203

If all this is coming out now (even if you taking it with a big pinch of salt) how the hell did they keep it hidden from public view before- they must've paid sooooo many people to keep quiet!!

    4. 204

I like others doubt these were MJ's legs…Where's the proof??

    5. 205

Maybe this is the result of an IV drug extravasation and subsequent injection of a rescue drug (a drug given to prevent tissue damage and necrosis). Extravasation of Valium or sodium pent. would could cause damage. There is a protocol on how the rescue drug would be injected around the wound. Or maybe it is a spider bite.

dude PUT A WARNING NEXT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! such as WARNING:NOT FOR THE WEAK STOMAHCED!!!! I think I just threw up a little bit.

    7. 207

If you would listen Perez, it was stated that those marks could have been from Lupus, insect bits, even vitiligo not proven to be from IV. I have had numerous CHEMO IV injections and they do not look anything like that.

I can't help but think what a relief it must be for his beautiful spirit to escape this mortal coil and judgemental world.

    15. 215

      Holy Shit!!!!!!!

    16. 216

Those pictures are old, The injuries were caused by a SPIDER BITE, like five years ago.

    17. 217

i don't think the media should be posting these pictures for the sake of his family

My best friend has vitiligo, it developed in her forties. A coworker's sister has had the disease since she was a teen (and has lost the use of one eye to the disease). A classmate of my son's is in the early stages (developing patches on his hands).
      .
      .
In each instance, they are the only known members of their families with the disease. It's an auto immune system disorder about which little is known. What triggers vitiligo is a mystery, although it's believed that extreme stress may play a role.
      .
      .
For each of these individuals that I know, it is a difficult condition to live with. Their spots are very noticeable, and they feel that people are always looking at them as if they are freaks. There is no recovery, no cure. The disease just continues to spread over time. And they are extremely self-conscious 24/7.

    19. 219

The spots caused by vitiligo are actually areas where the disease has destroyed the existing pigment, resulting in a porcelain white appearance. These areas are highly susceptible to sun damage and skin cancer. There is no way to "re-pigment" these areas, short of skin grafts - which is really not a satisfactory solution for a lot of reasons, especially if the disease is wide spread.
      .
      .
The other option is to depigment the normal skin to achieve a uniform appearance. It's reported that there are both topical and systemic approaches to depigmentation, but both carry significant risks, since you are essentially seeking to permanently damage the normal skin tissue to match the diseased patches.
      .
      .
Why would someone go to those lengths? I can only tell you that the individuals I know are deeply effected by the condition, even though they are not in the public eye. For someone in the entertainment industry, for whom appearances are everything, vitiligo would be an especially cruel disease.

Because of my familiarity with people who suffer from vitiligo, my perception of Michael Jackson was altered. This disease changes peoples own perceptions about their appearance in a very negative way. Also, his outfits appeared less strange to me when I realized how necessary it was for him to take precautions against the sun, including hats, sunglasses, umbrellas, long sleeves, etc.
      .
      .
And the spots are just the outward manifestation of the disease. It is also destructive to the connective tissues and certain organs of the body. I think we will come to learn that Michael Jackson was dealing with more than we ever imagined.
      .
      .
May he rest in heavenly peace.

Perez, your so disrespectful.. take this shit down. your disgusting.
and its clearly him, look at his skin. clearly vitiligo.
