In his 2005 book TrumpNation, author Timothy O'Brien claimed Donald Trump is only worth between $150 million and $250 million - not the $6 billion the developer claims!
Trump's legal attempt to silence the author was finally and fully denied in a New Jersey court on Wednesday.
The Apprentice star sued the New York Times editor for libel until Judge Michelle Fox made a verbal ruling to toss out the case.
"My net worth fluctuates, and it goes up and down with markets and with attitudes and with feelings — even my own feelings," said Trump, in which he also said that the estimate of his net worth of over $4 billion "is a very conservative number."

That's too much for any 1 person, there are plenty of people that could be helped and if he did so proportionately, he wouldn't be so rich financially but in other ways.

Even one's own children may be completely clueless as to how much money their family has. They are flattered when one underestimates the value of their fortune (which is not as typical as in families and individuals with new money, such as Donald Trump). They typically will donate large sums of money to charities — quite often in the 6-figure range, anonymously. Their parties may not be as lavish as that of "new money", who enjoy showing off.
