Farrah Fawcett Honored With Emmy Nod

Farrah Fawcett has been posthumously honored with an Emmy nomination for her work on her NBC documentary Farrah's Story.
She has been nominated thrice before for fictional television roles, but has never won.
The love of her life, Ryan O'Neal, said in a statement, "For the Television Academy to recognize Farrah's Story with this nomination is such a wonderful acknowledgment for Farrah and her legacy. I know that she is smiling that fabulous smile right now in heaven, and that she is grateful that the show has been so well received not only by her peers in the industry but by the public at large."

I'm sad that she's gone. She was extremely brave to allow herself to be filmed during her illness, the procedures she endured looked so painful and she was always optimistic.

Farrah deserves honors, but not Ryan O'Neal. He is a piece of crap, lowlife, scumbag. There's a special spot in hell reserved for anyone who would screw the mother of his child's "best friend" in the next room while she was lying there dying. According to Farrah's dad, he caught Ryan and Alana in bed together in the room next to Farrah, when he came to visit his dying daughter.
