Despite weeks of radio play, the song failed to crack the chart. The single went on sale last week and finally debuted on the Hot 100 - at a disappointing #11.
Expect a big drop-off next week!
And what's an even bigger hit to Mimi's diva ego is that Miley Cyrus's new single (Does the name really matter?) debuted a spot above MiMi's, killing her shot of even making the top ten.

hannah montana music is actually pretty good, and gives you a happy feeling, a break in hard times.
Not hot? Um Perez, its a debut and keep in mind not all singles debut at numer 1… It's Like That never hit 1, We Belong Together climbed to #1, did not debut, and same for Don't Forget About Us, yet that album was the biggest selling album of the year. You speak as if you know music but you don't. She has been around for almost 20 years so I think she has proven herself. The song is hot and quite frankly, a very different sound and direction for her. Give Mimi some advice if you know so much, do more than just criticize as you so often do without providing what you think will be a valuable solution.

Isn't it impressive to debut that high? Songs usually work their way up the chart right? Plus Mariah has been on the charts longer than Hannah Montana has been alive and will be there long after that 12-year old turns 13 and discovers coke is more than a tasty beverage. What's Mariah to do? People say she should go back to her powerhouse ballad days, but that was the early 90s, the days of Michael Bolton and Celine Dion, and there's really no market for that kind of music anymore. The best she can do is adapt to every faux-R&B trend out there, but there's a point in her life when she needs to realize she's getting too old for some of this. I still believe there's a great voice in her; it just has deepened with age and she really needs to learn to adapt to that change and work with what she still has. And she shouldn't be too proud to hire a vocal coach, if she hasn't already. Rather than doing the same R&B/Hip-Hop hybrid thing she's been doing since 97, she should really branch out more and try to be a little more adventurous. Bring back some old-school R&B, Mariah, you know back when divas really knew how to sing. Make a dance album–some of her songs have sounded better in their club remixed form. Do something along the lines of Alicia Keys or Erykah Badu, you know some real music with real musicians instead of computers and the "it" producers. She's already accomplished a lot..she can afford to not have the next #1 single in lieu of releasing some really great material. Either way, I'm glad she's still making hits, even though I'm never too crazy about what I hear from her anymore.
