Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince set records this week!!!!

The sixth film in the series made $104 million worldwide on its first day in theaters, making it the largest single day gross for a film release.

The film scored the second biggest Wednesday opening in the U.S. ever, falling just behind Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Craziness!

The first five films in the Potter franchise, one of the most lucrative in history, have earned about $4.5 billion collectively at the box office.

Pure gold!!!!!!

      This does not surprise me one bit! after waiting what seems forever to watch this film, it really was worth the wait. I only wish that the directors, studio, and producers of HP could have done the twilight series as well. guaranteed the movie would have looked, been cast, and written much better.

      It surprises me how many different kinds of people see the movies…we went out to our fave sushi place last night, and the chef mentioned the movie. This guy sitting at the bar had seen it, the waiter had seen it, the chef had seen it, and turns out our friends with us had seen it too. It now makes sense just why these movies make so much money! EVERYONE sees Harry Potter!

      like anyone could doubt.. the books are amazing, the films are very good, although they change a lot, but whatever.. if you look at the casting, and the actors-skills and the special effects.. its just keept getting better… i'm even afraid to think what the 7 (and 8th :P ) would be like!

      harry potter rules the world!! it's a litrerature classic already!

      OMG I CANT EVEN START TO TELL U PPL HOW MUCH THIS MOVIE SUCKS ASS….SHAMEFULLY I WENT TO SEE THIS WEDNESDAY NITE AND OH LORDY WAS THAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY AND TWO HOURS OF MY LIFE THAT ILL NEVER GET BACK…THE MOVIE IS FULL OF NOT FUNNY INNUENDOS RELATING TO SEX AND SHIT, MOSTLY DIRECTED TOWARD A TEEN AUDIENCE…A BUNCH OF SHIZZ THAT IS UNREALATED TO THE MAIN SHIZZ IN THE MOVIE…BASICALLY IT WAS LIKE A LEGAL FORM OF PAID FOR TORTURE!!!

      This just proves that Harry Potter is better than Twilight. The books actually have a plot and the characters have substance. I love the Harry Potter books and the movies, they are just amazing.

      I loved this movie, it was really great. The kids' acting is just wonderful, as is the grown ups'. The cinematography was also outstanding, I wouldn't be surprised if the cinematographer gets an oscar nod. Much more mature that Tardlight, and much more artsy.

      "Half-Blood Prince's" midnight runs were the best ever for any film, besting the $18 million earned by Warners' "The Dark Knight" last summer, as well as the $16 million grossed by Paramount's sequel "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" earlier this summer.

      I went and seen this movie today in Times Square and it was a total waste of time. This movie is WACKKKKK and seriously overrated. There are a few funny moments. But overall this movie is nothing…and I mean nothing like the others. Its almost shameful. Only thing that I can say good about his movie is that Dan Radcliffe looks hot!!! Other than that..save your money..see this on DVD. I wish I did.
