Katherine Jackson May Try To Become The Executor Of MJ's $500 Mil Estate!

mj-wenn__opt11__opt11__opt1.jpg

Katherine Jackson could be seeking control of her son Michael's estate, even though his will states otherwise!

Jackson's will, written in 2002, lists his attorney John Branca and music exec John McClain as the co-executors of his estate, but Katherine wants to know if she can legally "object the appointment" of Branca and McClain and "suggest an alternate appointment," according to a claim filed by Jackson's mother on Friday.

The late King of Pop's estate is said to be worth more than $500 million!!!!

MJ's will, however, states that anyone who contests it will be disinherited!

A judge will decide whether or not Mrs. Jackson's claim can be pursued on August 3rd during the guardianship hearing for MJ's three children.

Do U think Katherine should be named the executor or should the court stand by Michael's will?

Katharine is being pushed into this and they will rob him blind. She would be the conduit for all his brothers and sisters and his dad to continue to leech off him. His poor kids would be on the outside looking in. Michael knew exactly what he was doing when he put the codicil into his will disinheriting anyone who contests it. Katherine needs to chill. She is guaranteed a huge share. Michael wanted to make sure his kids were secure. That's why he appointed outside the family.

STAND BY HIS WILL! Those where his wishes, why is that hard for people to understand?

    3. 3

He obviously anticipated something like this happening.
Geeze, why even make a will if it is gonna be contested by everyone and their mother.
Honor MJs request. Deny mom control. It would be funny if she stayed out of it AND was disinherited!

    4. 4

they should obviously stand by his will. what is the point of someone creating a legally binding document specifically outlining his/her final wishes if the court isn't going to adhere to it?

    5. 5

As long as that greedy rat slimebag father of his has absolutely no control or influence over it!! Which I feel may not be the case here!

    6. 6

A will is a will!…what is the purpose of legal documents if someone can just change things?……Leave his ish alone!….he knew what he was doing!

    7. 7

      Ditto to dunzooo and chi-yown-milf!

A will is made for a reason. She should abide by Michael's wishes.

    9. 9

If Katherine gets control of his estate and she dies ( 79 yrs old ain't a spring chicken) guess who gets it then??? HER SPOUSE!!! No way! The will should NOT BE CHANGED.

    10. 10

go by the will….do not go against the will.

    11. 11

Absolutely not, she's going against her sons wishes….what a fucked up money hungry.

    12. 12

      Respect his wishes!

    13. 13

Why do people change when money is involved? She should respect what he left in his will. He did it for a reason and it would be right if she was to get disinherited! People are sooo greedy!

    14. 14

The point of a will is so when someone dies their wishes can be carried out after their death. If MJ wanted his mom to be executor than he would have made her executor! There must have been some reason, may be his leech of a father Joe, he didn't want his mother to have control of his money. Respect his wishes people! Stop being so greedy!

      I came across an online community for individual seeking interracial love. It is ^***B l a c k- W h i t e- L o v i n g - c O m***^^^^All singles there are seeking interracial relationships. Interracial is not a problem there, but a great merit to cherish!

    16. 16

I got your t. Love when I get those! It's nice to know when you're mat I was at the same time, so your timing was perfect! 46, bg

    17. 17

Let her. Once everyone who he owes $$ to is settled the remaining jacksons will be on the hook for additional funds. I hope they are all happy when it all shakes down. There is NO WAY there will be a penny left.

    18. 18

Why didnt he leave it all to charity? I thought he wanted to heal the world.

    19. 19

His will should be honored (except, possibly, for his wishes for the children - as long as Katherine is legally married to Joe, the potential for disaster is there). History has proven the neediness and dependency of the Jacksons on MJ (with the notable exception of Janet). An attorney should be the executor.

I found a great site ======cougar matching = co m==== It 's where you have the opportunity dreaming about dating a sexy beauties and even hot celebs and make it true!

    21. 21

Is this OLD LADY capable of that?
Why does she want that HUGE responsabiity?

Let the lawyers take care of that…

    22. 22

$500 million, Perez? The Sony/ATV music catalog alone was estimated at 4 to 5 billion dollars, and that doesn't include any of his other business ventures including his own music catalog. Don't fool yourself, Perass.

    23. 23

BUBBLES IS DEMANDING 1/4 OF MICHAEL ESTATE.HIS ATTOURNEY SAYS HE'S INTITLED TO IT FOR THE FUN THEY HAD TOGETHER.AND HE (BUBBLES) IS ALSO SUING JOE JACKSON FOR MAKING SEXUAL ADVANVCES TOWARDS HIM!!!!!

    24. 24

Wills are written for something! He knew his family, and he knew he couldn't trust anyone of them. I think everyone should respect and obey what the legal will says.

Katherine will rob those precious children blind for the benefit of her blood relatives and cheating beating husband. She is weak and being manipulated by Joe. EXECUTOR / TRUSTEE LMFAO. She already let Joe run up 24million in bills leading to bankruptcy. She has no financial credibility and would disrupt and obstruct the real executor's for Joe and Jermaine's gain. She apparently used to refer to michael's precious children and "the girl and the boy". PLUS IT WAS NOT MICHAEL'S WISH FOR HER TO BE IN CONTROL. HE WOULD HAVE OTHERWISE MADE HER A TRUSTEE. A beneficiary of a trust cannot be an executor or administrator as it creates conflict of interest.

SHE AND JOE ARE BEING GREEDY. SHE NEVER WANTED MICHAEL SOLO OR OUT FROM HIS DAD'S THUMB. SHE ALLOWS MANY OF THE FAMILY TO LEECH OFF HIM BY LIVING THE HOUSE HE PAID FOR AND PAPA JOE KEPT TAKING MORTGAGES OUT ON TO FUND HIS "PROJECTS" BEFORE BANKRUPTING THEM.

      GO TEAM BRANCA
I HOPE THIS COUNTS AS A CONTEST OF THE WILL AND MRS. KATHERINE IS DISINHERITED.

    26. 26

I think the 2 guys named should handle things. That way things will be the way Michael wanted them to be. He listed them, for a reason.

    27. 27

      Stick to Michael Jackson's will!

    28. 28

      This is sickening!
I know if I died I like people respect my will

    29. 29

I dont knpow what to think about Branca and McClain- MJ never updated the will in seven years. MJ didn't update the Will during the trial? Strange.
MJ fired Branca and McLain after the Will was drafted in 2002 and hired them back three weeks before he died. MJ said he didn't trust Branca in 2006 and Leonard Rowe said on GMA that MJ told him he didn't want to re-hire Branca.
Oh, and Branca keeping the WILL (after he was fired) in his safe for seven years. you make a will in 2002 and name people that you later fire to be theexecutor of your estate … why would you have people you haveterminated remain in control of your finances, should you die ?? Anew will would have been drafted or the old one amended. Let's say, for some strange reason, that scenario never happened andyou hire the same people seven years later. Immediately uponre-hiring them, you decide that you again want them to be in controlof your matters, in the event you die. If you never changed the will, they are still on record as being in that capacity already. Nothingneeds to be amended, altered or drawn up…Right?? Why then do those two men provide a letter, dated the same monthMichael died, stating his wishes that echo his last will andtestiment ?? Why the over 'KILL' ?? pardon the pun. branca HAD the will in his safe….? he were fired seven yrs ago. u,like most people, would assume u were no longer tied to him or hadanything to do w/ him so y hold onto it for so long?

    30. 30

The will should and probably will stand. As someone who is inheriting a huge percentage of his estate, it would most certainly be a conflict of interest.

    31. 31

holy fuckernuts. these people–you know, his family are every bit as money hungry and gross as the gloved pervert thought they were. um, hence his wishes concerning his will. i hope to heaven (where mj isn't) that they honor his will and give the poor pervert his wishes. what the frig is the point of a will if they don't. hours of his life wasted that he will never get back and that he could of been fondling some young boy?? not fair at all.

    32. 32

not only this woman did NOT protect her children from a ferocious father, she also claimed in "living with MJ take two" Joe did never hurt the children.

She disgusts me as much as this brutal animal she knew sexually molesting the girls and beating the boys for hours with fists, belts, feet and sticks.

      SHE WATCHED AND DID NOTHING.

    33. 33

His will should be carried out to the letter, those were his wishes.

    34. 34

If any member of his family gets ahold of his money, Michael's kids will end up in foster care or begging on streetcorners. I think they should disinherit her-there is a clause in the will to disinherit anyone who contests the will.

    35. 35

She should not.She is shoving 80 and when she dies it will just be one huge legal mess all over again. She needs to stop the greed.

    36. 36

The church will get most of it if she's in charge.

    37. 37

John Branca is a very honest man. He gelped make the deals that enriched the estate ,,,Michael wanted him. That is who it should be.

    38. 38

If she becomes executor, according to the law she can't be a beneficiary. I mean. WTF is advising her! It is wrong to break his will. Michael knew what he was doing. The people Michael appointed are credible people with solid reputations. They aren't predators and thieves. She is getting 40% of his estate. His kids are getting 40%. Katherine needs to let it be. Michael supported his whole, greedy family for 40 years. She will probably get close to $ 180M after taxes. So Tito, Randy, Jermiane, Jackie, Rebbie, LaToya, and Marlon will get a piece of the action and so will Joe. They are dumb. If they handle it right they can keep getting dividends the rest of their lives. Katherine could set up a trust. Direct her trust to be beneficiary of her inheritance in perpetuity, and directs the trust to support her kids. Dunzo. Janet is the only one who probably doesn't need the money.

    39. 39

Stand by his will!! Those were his last wishes and as his mother she should hand over the property to whoever he gave it too in his will!
The only reason she wants the property is because it”s worth so much!

    40. 40

This stinks of Joe Jackson. They need to stand by the will, which means disinheriting her for contesting it. So then what happens to the kids with her out?

    41. 41

Sounds like Joe is pushing her to do this.

    42. 42

Re: littlewitch – yes, but MJ also said in a deposition in 2006 that he didnt trust Branca..

    43. 43

THIS is why she shouldn't get the kids. She is still a slave to Joe and is herself a money grubber. The ONLY reason Michael thought better of her is because next to Joe she didn't seem to bad. The will is the will. She should lose her share of MJ's money for trying to fight it.

    44. 44

SHE SAT BACK AND WATCHED HER CHILDREN
      *
      BE ABUSED BY HER HUSBAND!
      *
SHE'S NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR ANY OF THIS!!

    45. 45

SO WRONG for mother be executor. Right…when she dies, then what? Just like having custody of the kids. Not only that, she wants $$

    46. 46

I think it's weird that he would appoint a lawyer and a music exec as the executors of his will. Shady, considering those kinds of people can't be trusted. It's sad that he didn't have any family members he could be close to, and appoint executor. If I were the judge, I'd be digging into finding out the circumstances behind why he chose these two particular people, and if they were still relevant in his life 7 years later. I do NOT think those kids should be anywhere near Joe & Katherine, their history has been proven and they do not deserve a second chance. Joe is already talking about pimping Paris out to the music biz!!! Let the kids live with Janet or LaToya. That would be best. Put all monies in a trust for the kids, with some set aside for the person who will be raising them.

    47. 47

I think they should leave it the way it is thier is obviously a reason as to why he doesnt want his mom to get it!

    48. 48

and whats the point of doing a will before you die if people can change it once you are dead!

    49. 49

Why did Michael have to update his will - the last will was written after the third child was born, Blanket, what else changed beyond mounting debts and with the exception of the children, apparently the 1996 will was pretty much the same. The real overriding document is the trust document which is private - if there were any changes since 2002, the trust document is more likely the document that may have been changed and not necessarily if it pretty much represented his wishes.

    50. 50

It is very very common to appoint lawyers as executors usually along with family members but given Michael's family, leeches all except Janet, and in the case of Branca and MacLain, they were the guys that Michael trusted and they had made him a lot of money, leading him to make many good business deals including the Beatles catalogue. They seem like the perfect choice to me.

    51. 51

Did Michael fire them or only needed them to draft his will? He was busy with child molestation charges thereafter and was spending time with lots of criminal lawyers. Beside with Michael, if you gave him a straight piece of advice he didn't like, he would just shut you out - he was more likely to shut out the people who had his best interests at heart seeming to prefer Yes man.

My own guess is Michael was not feeling well and in a moment of clarity realized he needed to get rid of the bottomfeeders and get some people in he trusted. For all we know the bottomfeeders were not happy that MJ was bringing Branca et al back in or that Branca et al might expose what was going in.

    52. 52

I think the court should stand by Michael's will. I also think Janet should raise the kids.

    53. 53

NONONONONONONONONO!!!!! WHY?!?!? SO HIS FATHER CAN HAVE IT ALL?!?! RESPECT THIS MAN'S WISHES. AFTER ALL IT WAS HIS TO DO WITH AS HE PLEASED.

    54. 54

If a Jackson is involved it is ALWAYS about money! How in the world can she justify this? Always about the money…..ALWAYS!!!

    55. 55

follow MJ's will. He had his reason.

    56. 56

Lemonbird, you said it all. That is exactly the reason MJ had his will set up the way it is and he knew that if anything was to happen to him prematurely, his broke, greedy siblings (excluding Janet) but including his father would have their sticky fingers all over it. Germain with his wanna be in the industry and the rest of those 'hangers on'. MJ especially didn't want Joe involved but he can still push Katherine into what he wants done under the premise of it's what's best/we're family. MJ didn't hang out with you. He outgrew you, all! I don't see why Katherine can't leave well enough alone, she got a great settlement from her son now greed is taking over because if she can get MJ's will overturned Joe can run over the lawyers they will choose and they can dip in the $$ whenever until there's nothing left for those kids, the rightful heirs. A damn shame. I hope the judge sees through their bull****!

    57. 57

The will should stand, who cares what the rest of that family of leeches wants.

    58. 58

The will is his last request before he died, why can't the court honor it and move on. His mother should be happy that she got something from his will. He wants to take care of his children first and his parentsa and siblings last. If his mother can't stand by it then she shouldn't be getting anything.
