R-Patz Is One Cheap Bitch!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooAnglophiliaRobert Pattinson

wenn5323911rpatz.jpg

Either our darling Robert Pattinson is terrible at mathematics or he's cheap as all hell!

R-Patz and some pals grabbed a bite to eat at Il Cantinori in Greenwich Village last Tuesday and reportedly only left a $50 tip on their $350 bill!!!

Not even 15%!!

Even though the waiter described Pattinson as "nice and friendly," Robert and his friends closed the restaurant down by being the last diners in the Italian eatery after boozing on a $60 bottle of wine and numerous bottles of Italian beer with their food.

Regardless, learn some manners, R-Patz!

They don't tip in the UK, but they do in America!

WHATEVER perez… he s so gorgeous

    we don t care =P

  2. 202

I'm a waitress. NOT offended. $5 tip would be offensive.

  3. 203

Wow, I don't know if a lot of these posters are just kids who don't know anything yet about eating out, but this was a really poor tip. Drinks should always be included although tax doesn't need to be when you calculate tip (but personally I just use the bottom line and don't worry about subtracting tax). 15% is for borderline bad service and 20% is average for decent service. 20% rounded up or more is for good service. I know it isn't the same on other countries and I can see some points that restaurant owners should pay better so tips could be eliminated, but as it stands now servers get a bit over $2 an hour as a wage–they live on their tips! And in this economy many people who used to have good jobs are now having to go back to their old college days and wait tables again–my husband is one of them–and if everyone was as cheap as some of the people on this post we would lose our house! Please, in America, TIP YOUR SERVERS AT LEAST 20%!!! And if you can't afford that, maybe you really shouldn't be going out to eat.

  4. 204

maybe gratuity was already included in the bill… then he added an extra tip :) sometimes you just gotta think the best of people.

  5. 205

Re: *Crystal* – may be a waste of money to you guys, but here servers don't make minimum wage. so tip is how they make any money, otherwise it's basically slave labor.

  6. 206

    thats basically 15% you dick

  7. 207

I'm a server and I really don't think he deserves the "cheap bitch" headline! While I think he should have tipped more based on the fact that he is a public figure and everyone talk about everything he does…However if someone were to tip me $50 on a $350 I would be satisfied. If I busted my butt for them then not so much, but none of us know what actually happened. The service could have been horrible for all we know.
AND FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER WORKED AT RESTAURANTS AND SAY IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE, ITS NOT BUT ITS A LOT OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WORK THAT REALLY TAKES IT OUT OF US AFTER A GROUP LOAD OF CHEAP BASTARDS. IF YOU MAKE YOUR SERVER RUN AROUND GETTING YOU A MILLION THINGS YOU HAVE TO TIP WELL. AND WE ALL HAVE GREAT MEMORY WHEN IT COMES TO CHEAP PEOPLE, SO JUST REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU LEAVE $2 AT A PLACE YOU GO TO OFTEN. THAT IS WHY YOU GET BAD SERVICE AND THERE IS A SURPRISE IN YOUR FOOD.

  8. 208

What happened to darling Rob? He has a bruise above his eyebrow and a cut on his upper lip!

  9. 209

Where I'm from a server get's $8.75 an hour and I'll usually give 10% or 15% if it was good service. Tipping isn't mandatory, speaking as a former waitress, it should be earner. You can't just stand there doing dick and expect to get an ass load of money.
For those of you complaining that you only get "x" amount of money an hour and that tipping is needed and how you live, why should the customer be required to pay your wage? You're the one who chose that "career" in the first place, fully knowing what you'll make an hour.
Take your $50 with a smile and move on with your day.
I think the one who should learn some manners is the one bitching about $50 for taking some food to a table. I mean please

  10. 210

i'd kill for a 50 dollar tip. tips are depended not only on tab but the service.

  11. 211

i heard it wasn't him who paid and that it was his manager who did.

  12. 212

Do the math. It IS about 15% Should be 20 tho.

  13. YUCK says – reply to this

    213

yeah fuck these ashhole waiters or waitresses who think they are entitled to a tip when they give bad fucking service. I'm never tipping again.

  14. 214

perez…. seriously….. can you say mountain out of a molehill?

and if he had ordered cheap wine and budweiser, the waiter would have been working just as hard.

  15. 215

Wow as if this poor man is not watched enough now
everyone is watching his wallet too!!!! First, I live in
NY and I can say that the tip was appropriate. There are
alot of restaurants the will add in the 15% to your bill
automatically. And it just so happened that ok magazine
found his waiter and got him to comment. Give me a break.
There is no law that states you have to tip. If you take that
kind of job you know this. It is out of the courtesy of the customer to
tip for the services given to them if they feel to do so. Leave this man alone.
Stop judging and scrutonizing everything he does. At least he left a tip.
People really need to get a life. He was lucky to be serving him and even
more lucky Rob treated him well. Cause alot of stars are rude and could care
less. Since all of this was over the waiters tip I hope that ok magazine talking
about how cheap Rob is… paid the waiter for his time. And I hope it was more than 15%.
    What a douchebag!!!!!!!!!

  16. 216

    leave my man alone

i wouldn't care if he left no tip, i still love him

  17. 217

ok you ignorant fucks, as a NYC native and a full time server you should know that YES you are required to tip on the ENTIRE net sales REGARDLESS of whether it was food or drinks. Why you may ask (if you are cheap and really give a fuck about the difference in $5 extra bucks in your wallet) it's because in America especially NYC the rules that govern tax laws for servers is different. #1, we don't get a check for the money we make per hour because they get taxed out, #2 we tip out 33% of the ASSUMED 16% of whatever our next sales is busboys, etc and on top of that we still pay taxes on the entirety of the tip so next time you stupid celebrities and I don't care how hot and foreign you are decide that it's ok not to tip the people waiting around for your hot ass drunk ass to leave the restaurant so I can go home and start the day all over again just to make a living and maybe crack a shot at real career think again - we hate you all for your ignorance.

  18. 218

close enough…and based more on food and not so much on the booze. no one likes negative rpattz talk!

  19. 219

perez hilton bitches about people who make fun of him, but here he is complaining about the (overly generous) tip someone left a waiter… what a psychotic tard.

  20. 220

im a server adn really if u dont have money to tip then dont go out to eat!!!.. the same way ppl make their money gettin paid hourly to pay their bills.. we haver to rely on tips to pay our bills. ppl who cant tip are grimy..i honestly dont think he did it on purpose bc hes froma diff place but for ppl to say "who give s a fuck".. how wud u like to not get paid an workin for free??

    20% alwayss :)

  21. 221

How dare that punkass/bitch complain! I waited tables for 18 yrs. Yes, the wage was SUB-MINIMUM. If you pulled your weigh, you got a decent STATION…meaning 3-5 tables. To serve apps/meal and drinks would cover 20 mins or less of "face time". If you took care of two other tabes with a $150-200 tab.and they each left $25..that's $100/hr..plus your $3.00, "house pay". The gov't ASSUMES you make at least minimum wage. They used to(18 yrs ago, make you claim 8% tip earnings to be taxed on..in addition to your "house pay". Let's say that's up to 10% now.So..the server only claimed $35.00 as tip income…$15 gets buried, tax free. So, in a great NYC locale, the potential is $103/hr..minus tipping out about 20% to other personnel. That's about $75/hr…and they're getting taxed as if they've only earned $38. So…if they fall into a 25% tax bracket..they CAN net $55/hr, or so…in TOP establishments. Trust me..HARD but usually rewarding work.if you're top notch and quick

  22. 222

Just because someone ran up a large bill does not go to say that their person who served them earned a good or 15% tip.

While I will always leave a tip if earned, I can't stand when people act like they have a right to a tip.

Rob is not cheap for leaving off a few dollars.. $50 is better than nothing at all !

  23. 223

that's such bs. people should tip for good service IF THEY WANT TO…i really don't understand by we are FORCED to do so. waiting is a very hard job….LIKE ANY OTHER ONE. So why are they given pity and not…say, cashiers and such. Such crap. Plus, 50 dollars is fine

  24. 224

UMMMMMM, PEREZ EVERYONE IS NOT JOHNNY DEPP TO GO AROUND TIPPING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!! 50$ IS GOOD ENUFF

  25. 225

Very true, that if you can't afford to tip correctly, then you can't afford to go out to eat. I have left 30+ % for great service, 20% for service that was good, but slow & somewhat lacking…etc. I am truly appalled at the comments saying things such as "why should I have to worry about tipping?, I don't care about their kids?" etc, are just pathetic. Anyone that is cultured regardless of where they are from, realize that the kind of service you get, makes or breaks the experience. Why not make your server's day, when you can give a little extra?

And FYI: this is a completely unbiased opinion, as I do not work as a server/bartender, or in food service. It's a sad comment on society when the majority of the population gets a dog-eat-dog mentality. Things would vastly improve is everyone actually did care a little more, in any type of circumstance.

  26. 226

Tips stands for To Insure Proper Service. If the waitstaff did not provide a service up to the patrons standards, then yes, they did the right thing by leaving just under 15 percent. Just because you are a waiter or waitress doesn't mean you are owed any kind of a tip. You have to earn it. Period.

  27. 227

You're a media whore for repeating this nonsense from - shocker - Ok! Magazine!! I can't believe you would try to crucify RPattz over something that he didn't do. First of all, his manager paid the bill. Secondly, and more importantly, there is no way on God's green Earth that any of the staff sold him out because they don't sell out a big source of revenue: celebrities!!! I was there the night after eating at the bar and chatted up the bartender,Dante. Great guy by the way. Do you honestly think they'd rat out Sir Paul McCartney, Vanessa Redgrave (Dante's favorite), Natasha Richardson (God rest her soul), Liam Neeson, George Clooney, Cindy Crawford, TomKat, or the Beckams??? Do you think Rob will ever eat their again??? Dante said they were inundated with calls about Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper and what they ate, drank, etc but they simply don't comment. The service at this place is amazing and I saw first-hand how they treat their regular customers, in particular. And the night I was there at 10 pm, same time Rob was there the night before, it was packed and really loud. I find it hard to believe someone overheard them or saw the bill, the lighting is really dim as well. Now in the off-chance the waitress DID spill the beans, let me repeat: ROB DIDN'T PAY THE FREAKING BILL!!! The poor guy has had enough of NYC as it is thanks to his psycho fans and obnoxious papparazzi, let's cut him some slack.

  28. 228

i hate how here in America a good tip is automatically expected. A tip is supposed to be a little extra thank you if you appreciated the service, now it's mandatory when you eat. I mean, i have no problem tipping people at least 15% every time I eat but when people start complaining about being a couple of dollars shy, it gets annoying. No one has to give a tip (even though now it's pretty much obligatory) so they should be happy that they are getting something.

  29. 229

Alright, for all u ignorant fucks out there that are calculating the tip off of 15%, u should definately STOP going out to eat until u learn to tip properly. For your information, the standard tip these days is between 18 and 20 percent. Servers have to tip out bartenders, busers and at some places even the hostesses at the end of the night. In other words, the server has to pay the bartender for making the drinks u order, the person who cleaned your table so you could sit there and the person who sat you there. So in the end, if you don't tip properly, that server may actually end PAYING to serve you and not make any money ofo your cheap ass. Witht that said, 20% of a $350 dollar check would be 70 dollars! Which means he definately UNDER tipped!

  30. Melme says – reply to this

    230

Yep…being from Australia is not compulsory here to tip either…if it was great service- fab - if not we aren't looked down for not. But been to the US many a time…and I know its "expected" but seriously…if the service sucks, its not happening…and won't go back there anyway so don't care if they give me the look of death on my way out. But $50 sounds pretty good to me……

  31. 231

okey i think that $50 are okey to a waiter
who gives a SHIT!! if gave to the waiter $50 or $70 or $52.50 who cares??

  32. 232

What the fuck? You tip when you want to and if you want to, since when does one HAVE to leave a tip?

    Fat idiot

  33. 233

Okay - I know the whole 15 percent thing - but if you spend a lot on a big dinner and some douche of a waiter who probably works days at chilis served the same thing and got a 5 dollar tip is pissed off at a fifty dollar tip, fuck him.

  34. 234

    wow $2 shy of 15%!!! no one cares…. $50 is $50…
    at least he paid!

  35. 235

so - are his knuckles that way for his "role" - or WHAT? looks like hes been beatin some ass

  36. 236

You ass wipes try busting your ass for $2.65 an hour, and then making $50 off $350. You'd be pissed too if your checks were only $55 every two weeks and not receiving the kind of tips you deserve.

  37. 237

    Re: eloRe: elo
    – The tip is based on the food service, not the bar tab, ignorance is bliss. They over tipped. –
    xx
THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO EVER USE THIS ARGUMENT ARE CHEAP TIPPERS.

  38. 238

    Re: IveHadQuiteEnoughTYVM
–What was the actual cost of the bill BEFORE TAXES? Is tipping mandatory now? Perez, from time to time you are somewhat entertaining but I really don't think you're the one to be preaching manners, here. LMFAO! –
    X
MOST WAITERS DO NOT EVEN MAKE MINIMUM WAGE. WHEN YOU GO TO A RESTAURANT AND A WAITER SERVES YOU, YOU TIP. IF YOU ARE TOO CHEAP TO DO THIS, THEN GO TO MCDONALD'S.

  39. 239

what about the service! maybe it wasn´t good enough for them to leave a nice amount!

I think it´s more than nice a 50 dollar tip!

  40. 240

Pfft - where I come from you tip based on service given - its not an automatic percentage.

I don't care what anyone says - a $50 tip on a $350 meal is plenty in my books.

  41. 241

Please perez! Like u wouldn't do the same thing!
I know hell well I do the same thing! LOL!

  42. 242

Are you being serious right now? One, you don't include wine in the tip, so he actually left enough. Two, why do you insist on posting things that are irrelevant or untrue? Even if the wine was included, he had a 14.3% tip. THE WORLD IS NOT GOING TO END IF HE'S $2.50 SHORT!!! Jeez Perez, get a grip, and do your math!

  43. DQ151 says – reply to this

    243

someone else is bad at math

  44. 244

    $350 X 15% =52.50
    hes not cheap??

  45. 245

wait staff in america are the biggest bunch of baby whiners in the universe! a tip is a gift, not mandatory. and for the asshole that said "it's because of cheap people like him that upscale restaurants are starting to add a mandatory gratuity to the bill"… i don't pay those bills! i will walk out on that shit. you EARN a tip, you don't just get it, greedy shits! if you want to make more money… go to school and get a better job!

  46. 246

as a server, the posts below make me sick. 20% is the new 15%. i don't live in manhattan and i'm offended if i'm left 15% (happens at maybe one table a shift). it's just tacky if there was nothing wrong with the service! anddd to correct a few of you, if the server was the one who did the bottle service at your table, then hell yes you tip on the bottle! if you can't afford to tip properly, then you shouldn't run up the bill. everyone should have to wait tables for six months of their lives to really see what it was like…guarantee everyone would leave 20%+ from then on out…thanks for calling him out on this perez, maybe now people will realize how inappropriate that is to do here in the US!

  47. 247

I don't think so. This still blows my mind that the American public HAS to compensate for businesses who underpay their staff. I'm NOT your employer take it up with them!

  48. 248

I honestly don't understand why this matters, If I were a waiter and got tipped $50 I'd be pretty happy.

  49. 249

first of all, you tip pre tax. i usually just include the drinks in there but apparently that is not even something you have to do. not that you have to tip period. fucking waiters and waitresses think they are entitled to their tips..bullshit! tons of people do hard work in retail and don't get a single penny in tips. plus, waiters make less money per hour but legally, if their tips for the hour don't bring them up to minimum wage, it is supplemented by the restaurant. so, waiters and waitresses are either making the same as everyone else or (and it is usually is) better. so stop fucking bitching! oh my god. $50 is more than i make in an entire day working my ass off!

  50. 250

I'm sorry…tipping for me is still 10% unless you do something EXTRAordinary. If you servers can't live on that, get other jobs. In my opinion, the entire tipping thing should be eliminated and restaurants should pay minimum wage to all staff, or more.

  51. 251

Um yes He could have been a little more generous with his tipping but does anyone else see the real issue here. Why in the hell is he all scrapped up. He has cuts marks all over his body what the hell????

  52. Whiz says – reply to this

    252

I really don't understand where the idea that one does not tip on wine and drinks is coming from. Is everyone from outside the U.S.? I understand that the work involved in a cheap bottle of wine is the same as an expensive one, but if you can order a $100 bottle, you can afford to tip. I have worked as a server for 20 years and currently make $3.00/hour (minimum is $2.62). I work in a busy chain restaurant and have to claim 8% of ALL my sales. If you pay and tip with a credit card, I have to claim ALL of the tip, and more than half of my customers use credit. I get credit card tips once a week, with my check, which is usually about $80 after taxes. I must tip out the bartender, busser and hostess. A 20% tip is pretty standard these days, and I ALWAYS give great service. I am a professional. Mistakes in the kitchen are not your server's fault. Often we are screaming and pleading with the cooks to make things right, and they're outside smoking. Serving is a very stressful and high-energy job, and to make any money you must work nights and be away from your family. I wish I had the luxury of choosing a "better" career, but this is reality, people. Not everyone gets to be on top. By the way, Europeans visiting the U.S. always KNOW ABOUT TIPPING, and if they don't, they're just cheap bastards.

  53. 253

Re: melonia – I'm sorry, but what fantasy world are you living in? 15% for borderline bad service? Why in the hell would I pay EXTRA for bad service? Bad service = 0-15%, depending on the level of "bad". Standard = 15% (and it's been like that forever, so don't try to convince the rest of us with this 20% BS). Great service = 15%+. You don't like how you're getting paid? Get another job.

  54. 254

i waited on justin timberlake a jessica biel a few months ago when they were on SNL. they left $5 on a $50 tab. There's a reason why celebrities stay rich…they're cheap.

Most waiters and waitresses don't even take home a check, and their sole source of income is from tips. Those that do take home a check might clear $3/hr if they're lucky. Good service in NYC warrants a 20% tip.

  55. 255

YOU STUPID FUCKING CHEAP BASTARDS!!!! DON'T FUCKING GO OUT TO EAT IF YOU DON'T NEED TO TIP. INDUSTRY STANDARD IS A 20% FUCKING TIP. WHO THE FUCK CARES IF YOU'RE FROM ENGLAND….IF YOU COME TO AMERICA YOU FUCKING TIP ON THE WHOLE CHECK. WHOEVER THINKS YOU DON'T NEED TO TIP ON WINE YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ETIQUETTE SO DON'T GO OUT TO EAT. YOU TIP ON THE WHOLE BILL. YOU ARE ALL STUPID IGNORANT MOTHER FUCKERS WHO SHOULD NEVER BE LET OUT OF THE HOUSE. YOU ARE ALL STUPID FUCKS WHO SHOULD EAT FAST FOOD AND NEVER GO TO A RESTAURANT. FUCK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO FUCKING STUPID!

  56. 256

NO ACTUALLY TIP IS BASED ON THE WHOLE CHECK YOU DUMBASS

  57. 257

THEN DON'T COME TO AMERICA YOU STUPID FUCK

  58. 258

nomnomnom sexy, the only tip i want from him, is the tip of his dick.

  59. 259

Re: IveHadQuiteEnoughTYVM – YES TIPPING IS MANDATORY IF YOU GO TO A RESTAURANT. DO YOU LIVE IN A BOX YOU IGNORANT FUCK! I'VE HAD QUITE ENOUGH OF STUPID FUCKS LIKE YOU WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO TIP WHEN THEY GO OUT TO EAT. FUCK YOU!

  60. 260

Re: Annielisious – YES YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO TIP ON A BOTTLE OF WINE YOU STUPID BITCH…WHO OPENS IT FOR YOU…WHO SERVES YOU….WHOSE GLASSES ARE YOU USING.FUCK YOU!

  63. 263

Re: elo – YOU ARE A STUPID MOTHER FUCKER! YOU TIP ON THE WHOLE BILL YOU PIECE OF SHIT. YOU SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO GO OUT AND EAT! FUCK YOU!

  64. 264

    FUGLY

  65. 265

considering English people don't tip I am sure he is still getting used to it, not to mention it should depend on the service too. he did tip 15% (well minus $2.50). Being a waitress myself I know that I would expect more on $350 but the other problem is that when people are drinking alot their math isn't good by the time they pay the bill. which can either work to your advantage or disadvantage.

  66. 266

ummm u need to chill…he was off by 2 bucks

  67. 267

Re: Iverness – Wow, you really should think about a story before you post it. First of all, you tip based on the bill before taxes - not after, you don't tip on the price of the bottle of wine, AND you tip based on the level of service you received. It seems to me that he OVERTIPPED if anything! Even without all that taken into consideration, 15% of $350 (which I'm sure is rounded UP btw) is $52.50. Wow, that's a huge difference…

Um, clearly you have never worked in a restaurant before. (And if you have, you obviously learned nothing). You most DEFINITELY account for alcohol when tipping. At the end of the night, servers have to tip out the bartender based on their alcohol sales. If your tables don't take into account their alcohol when tipping, then you're pretty much paying the bartender for them to drink.

If you can't afford the tip (because I'm sure he's really hard up for money), then don't go out to eat. Or get your food TO GO….. unless of course you like the taste of loogies in your food.

  68. great says – reply to this

    268

To the people commenting that "I should not have to tip" You're just being cheap. You do understand that if they paid the waiters more YOUR FOOD AND DRINKS WOULD COST MORE. Waiters in the US make under $3hr. That hardly covers taxes. It's a system that is in place and you're just screwing the person serving you and keeping the money for yourself. I know that tipping is not as common in other countries as America, but we know when you're playing dumb ;) Also I don't know why you would not tip on your drinks. I've never heard that one. The wait staff has to pay a percentage of his money to the bartender. Other than that this R-patz post was pretty lame and unneeded. Who freaking cares.

    Tip your server
    Wear clean underwear
    Drink more water.

    269

    Re: cassie55

Well that's where you're from. The food and drinks are sold at a cheaper price because they pay the wait staff less. It's how the system works here. If you don't like the system then eat at a place that does not require service. It's pretty simple.

  70. 270

Well, it's true in the US we do tip…AND, in NYC, they REALLLY tip good!!! (Normally, so at least 20% and maybe a little more…) Doesn't matter, lucky people who got to "hang out" & see our SEXXXY R-Patz!!!!

    273

One last thing, My good friend works in a 5 star Hotel. If you're famous and staying in my town it's pretty standard you stay at one of 3 hotels, His being one of them. Celebrities are the worst tipping of them all. Sometimes they do add the tip into the bill as they are traveling w/ a crew, but for the most part they just shit on the staff and demand every thing. It's handed to them as well. Of course this does not mean ALL of them are like this, but it's more common than not. With that said I still don't think think Pattinson did any thing wrong. His tip was just fine.

  74. 274

    $50 is ALOT!

  75. 275

who cares? what if it was bad service, would you still tip the waiter? so shut the fuck up and and let the (HOT!) guy do what he wants.

  76. 276

Fuck off, he's british! You'd be lucky to get 10% here! If you're so bothered, why don't you go and pay the tip for him! Anyway, $50 sounds like an awful lot for a tip already! Maybe the waiter didn't deserve it.

  77. 277

I'm sorry, but I just have to say that american;s are BY FAR the worlds worst tippers. Ur lucky if they even give 10%. He was generous to leave 15%…waiters are overpaid anyway, and I'm sure that wasnt their only table. That bitch probably pulled in 3-400 on top of salary. Shut up perez, you don;t know shiz!

  78. 278

for some, $50 is the cost of the meal itself. maybe if you actually WORKED to earn your money, then you would understand that his tip was pretty generous in these money-crunched times.

  79. 279

I live in U.S. and I hardly ever tip. Maybe like a buck or two. I find the whole tipping thing dumb. I don't care if waiters make their income on tips. I pay for the food I order, not the service. As long as I get what I ordered I could care less if the waiters are nice or not.

  80. 280

Obviously the waiter was a douche, since he went running to the tabloids to talk shit. Lucky he got $50. You don't tip based on income. It's not tithe ffs.

  81. 281

This drives me crazy! As a makeup artist I spend 1 - 1.5 hours working one on one with clients. I work in a department store this is a complimentary service, and for work outside the store I am paid a flat fee. Most artists do not make a stellar wage. If I receive a tip it is because of outstanding service (not because a client feels pressured by some unspoken rules). I don't understand why people in the restaurant industry feel slighted by 15%…

  82. 282

these people that are saying oh he was 2.50 short are nuts.. and probably bad tippers themselves.. i'm a server and the going rate is a 20% tip. so on 350 it shouldve been 70 dollars minimum.. plus, when youre famous servers just expect a lil' bit more..

and further… you think r-patz is bad?? taylor hicks came into a bar here in michigan and his groups bill was 400 dollars… so my friend who works there tells me he tipped 40 on 400! Thats 10%! …hideous. :-/

  83. 283

Re: Yesenia – You are pathetic. You go out to eat, expect to be waited on, then shit on your server? Go to fucking McDonalds.

  84. 284

Re: melonia – amen to that :) i serve and you put it perfectly :)

  85. 285

They don't tip in the UK?
    are you a retard??

  86. 286

some people are just trying to save a bit extra in this economic climate. geesh perez. at least he tipped. thats more than what some people do.

  87. 287

Wow…. Thats dumb…. Taylor Swift tipped me like 140% tip granted her meal was only 7.00 and she only ate a bite of it!

  88. 288

Re: Jewls21 – have you been living under a cave? He's filming a movie! Google 'Remember Me" and you'll see why.

  89. 289

Re: stonesfan – see my post-HE DIDN'T PAY THE TAB, HIS MANAGER DID

  90. 290

Re: sushi72 – YUP! Which is why it's all crap! See my post. Everyone who's trashing Rob owes him a big, fat apology.

  91. Norig says – reply to this

    291

um that isn't a bad tip!! what the fuck!!?? it is actually 15%…the correct amount!!

  92. 292

Why do you never mention that in all his recent pictures, he looks like he's been in a bar fight? Is this part of work he's doing for his movie, or is he really getting involved in some smackdowns?

  93. 293

British people use the facr that we don't tip here to be cheap while in other countries. works a treat mwah ha ha

  94. 294

I'm not American and when I was over there, I found it hard to gauge what I should tip (for restaurants, limo drivers etc). Cut him some slack!

  95. 295

50 dollars! what the hell thats a bomb tip. i would have only left 2 bux!

  96. 296

he looks so good in those glasses

  97. 297

i'm sorry, but they already gave 350 dollars in that reastaurant, i think 50 extra is a very good tip, especially in the time of recession when the restaurant visitors are few, they should be happy they got a big party of people there! and they DID tip, although they didnt have to, its not a law you know. so dont be bitching about Robert.

  98. 298

Wow, does it really matter? It's funny that people are even bitching about this at all….oh big whoop he missed $2.50. Let's all cry a river about a shitty little issue like that. Seriously….

  99. 299

the world must really be going mad if were stalking someone so much that we making the fact they didnt tip well news! crazy!
i think you're possibly feeling pressured to post some shit about robert after the endless compliments… well if there isnt any REAL crap then you dont need to go scrapping for it, maybe he's pretty much a nice guy!

  100. 300

…This is why he's so tired of America. It's complete bullshit, leave the man the fuck alone.
