The world's oldest man has died!!

113-year-old World War I vet Henry Allingham passed away on Saturday in the English coastal town of Ovingdean.

Allingham chalked up his long life to "cigarettes, whisky and wild, wild women" and sources close to the war veteran said he "possessed a great spirit of fun."

Live life to the absolute fullest!

Queen Elizabeth II is said to be "saddened" by the news of Allingham's passings, according to a spokeswoman for Buckingham Palace. She continued, "He was one of the generation who sacrificed so much for us all."

Here, here!

  19. 19

Errr Perez? You're just one huge walking bag of contradictions.

Allingham chalked up his long life to "cigarettes, whisky and wild, wild women"
Live life to the absolute fullest!

Errr is it not you who judges everyone for having a "cancerstick" or a little bit too much to drink once in a while. MAKE UP YOUR MIND.

  20. 20

    :( R.I.P.

  21. 21

notice he attributed his long life to WILD WOMEN–not gay men…

  22. 22

    Re: Zafrina – I agree!!

  23. 23

Was one of those "wild women" Queen Elizabeth II ??

I heard the Queen (not you, Perez - NOT YOU !) was learning POLE DANCING, with personal lessons from Paris Hilton !!

Of course, the Queen II must remain "somewhat modest", so she'll be wearing PASTIES with tassles on them, and a huge clean pair of white undies !

And I've heard she really let's it "SPIN AROUND"!!

Onlookers are said to be MOST IMPRESSED !

    YOU BETCHA !

  24. 24

He looks like such a nice old dear. I wonder if he married and had any family.

  25. 25

  37. 37

    aww :( thats sad!
but, congrats to the second oldest man.

  38. 38

What a cute old man. At least he lived a long life full of craziness! He lived life to the fullest, and that is what counts!! May his precious soul rest in peace!

  39. 39

May he rest in peace! I love older people like that. My great grandma passed back in February, at 99. She blamed it on her wines, and other liquors. Hell, she gave up drinking for Lent once. But, the stories that they have, and can tell? Amazing.

  40. 40

wow he had a nice long life

    RIP

  41. 41

    Aww RIP :l

  42. 42

why do you tag pictures like you took them?! you don't own them!

  43. 43

God bless him! "Sacrifice" is a word we don't hear much anymore. Now "it's all about me and to hell with others". Our country has gone to pieces.

  44. 44

    Re: moomin21
Actually, there are still more! From BBC:
Mr Allingham is survived by Harry Patch, who turned 111 last month and is now one of the last two British survivors of WWI.
The other British survivor is Claude Choules, aged 108, who served with the Royal Navy.

  45. 45

I would be happy to live to be in my 80's! And FYI, according to "The Straight Dope" the correct phrase isn't "here, here." It's supposed to be "hear, hear!" It is an abbreviation for "hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!"

  46. 46

wow! 113?! whoaaa and he can still get wild wild women? wow
    still that is sad!
june/july has literally been death months

  47. 47

    RIP! what an amazing man!

  48. 48

That is amazing, God bless his soul.

  49. 49

    Awwwwww… He was a cutie. R.I.P.

  50. 50

i bet obama had nothing to say about this war vets death, just like he had nothing to say about ed mcmahons death.
michael jacksons death, he paid copious amounts of time to, a seasoned and decorated war vet, nothing.
    some leader we've got here.

  51. 51

Funny how Perez didn't rip on him for smoking.

  52. 52

    Rip.
