Chris Brown has just released a statement, owning up to his actions in February and apologizing for severely beating then-girlfriend Rihanna.

You know what this smells like???

Like shit!!!!!

After you watch his apology (above), it'll be clear to anyone with half a brain that he's just trying to salvage what little he has left of a career.

      Wow, what he did was absolutely terrible, there is no doubt in that. After watching this video it leaves conflicting feelings, on one hand, I want to forgive him, because if everyone of us was held responsible for our deepest mistakes for the rest of our lives, then we would never be able to move forward. On the other hand, what he did was wrong, and he should have to pay for actions, a simple slap on the wrist will not quite suffice, but I do feel that he has been trying to work of the debt to society somewhat. I am not sure what to feel, but I do think that it has to be hard to admit to your biggest mistake to the world, unlike the rest of us who can live it privately, so for that, let's hope he can live up to his words and start taking his life in the right direction.
