As Mischa Barton starts to make herself comfortable in the psychiatric ward, her representation is fighting off all the rumors about her stay. The latest and most believable rumor to date is that the sometimes actress went on a three-day cocaine "bender" before her hospitalization.
Mischa's people say the story is riddled with factual errors and is “completely preposterous."
Actually, it's not. Just ask anyone who was ever on the set of The O.C. and they'll tell you how completely plausible it is.

A lot of artists, rock stars etc have made the mistake of taking cocaine and they're not publicly ridiculed for it.
F U Perez. Would you say this about someone trying to heal from cancer or some other illness? I am sick and tired of mental health being treated differently than physical health. ALL ILLNESS is physical. Addiction, schizophrenia, bipolar, cancer, diabetes….etc. You are discriminating against someone for being different, just like you, a homosexual. You are fighting for your civil rights while stereotyping millions of people who are courageous enough to face their demons. Of course, this same discrimination prevents 50% of all people with a diagnosable mental disorder from ever being treated. Thank you for creating more shame. "Riddled with Factual Errors" is B.S. speak. That doesn't mean that the story about the 3 day cocaine binge is false. Just that the paper said she was wearing red heels when she was actually wearing black boots, that her hair was up when it was actually down etc… See, they aren't actually SAYING what these supposed factual errors were. If they were ANYTHING major they would already have sued the paper.

Very sad but I must stick up for Misha - we met her a few years ago and she coudn't have been sweeter to us, just a couple of OC fans. She was genuinely so kind and generous with her time. She really seemed like a very sweet person. Wishing her all the best in her recovery.
If Misha's "people" really wanted her to get well, they would let the story die.

who cares?… my cousin works at womens wear daily and mischa was supposed to attend a photoshoot with her 2 other costars to promote their new show.. that morning her publicist called and cancelled because the night before mischa was taken to the hospital on a drug overdose and admitted into the pysch ward. so sad and such a shame. hopefully shell recover and make a comback.
