Obama Wants More TV Time!
Interrupting the country's favorite TV shows is not the greatest way to go about boosting your approval rating, Barack!
The Prez will be holding yet another primetime presidential news conference on Wednesday at 9 PM, as announced on the White House Twitter, but the major networks are having their doubts about airing the conference.
Wednesday night is the biggest night for the networks' summertime schedules, with new episodes of reality programming on all the big name networks, except for CBS!
CBS has signed on to broadcast the conference, with Fox, NBC and ABC still taking their sweet time in making up their minds.
Both Fox and NBC would be interrupting their summer mega-hits So You Think You Can Dance? and America's Got Talent if they were to air Obama's event!
Wednesday night's broadcast will be President Obama's fourth (!) news event since taking office in January. Seems a little excessive, dontcha think???

Um the tax cuts Bush enacted were roughly 715 billion and an additional tax on the highest earners around 4% will bring in another 300+billion. This health care program should be around1.2 trillion. Had we not gone on the desert misadventure we would have had the 2 trillion in savings for many of the programs the Prez wants funded. I don't do the kool aid, I get myself informed from other than Fox News thank you very much. I won't do your research for you but you can go to the house or senate website and see for yourself the savings that would come just from reforming health care. That is partly the reason GM went under, the fact they had to tack on health care costs on top of pricing for vehicles. Like I said, if people want to be ignorant and uninformed go to it.

Social Insecurity going broke. Didn't congress just pass SCHIP which is a public insurance program for children? These fools need to stop spending money that we don't have. Public option my ass;The goal is to eventually crowd out private insurance to the point where everyone will be forced into the government run scam. Page 16 of the legislation calls for outlawing private coverage for those who change jobs. It also mandates that private insurers NOT enroll new clients. Read the fine print fools.

Americans would be better served by investing in HSA's(Health Savings Accounts)and using said HSAs in conjunction with a Catastrophic Health insurance Plan. Of course the onus is placed on the individual to be responsible in funding said accounts and meeting the monthly premiums for the catastrophic health insurance plan. Imagine that, individual freedom and personal responsibility in the land of the free.

Interfering with the media, just to get more "face-time", isn't one of the good things. How much exposure does he need, anyway? He's already President. It looks like he's still campaigning for office. Enough talk. Fix the economy. If any of my shows get cancelled because of "low viewer rates", I may not be voting for him next term. He's getting on TV to try and convince people socialized medicine is a good thing. He's trying to pass through a bill that should take over a year to review, he's doing so because he knows if it is really reviewed then it for sure won't pass. The CBO has already warned it won't work, but he just keeps pushing something he's been warned is going to fail. It's not that he wants to get "close" to the American public by doing all this TV, it's that he wants to convince you that his agenda is the right agenda. He wants to change a program that doesn't work for like 10% of the population. Fix that issue for those people by doing other things like dealing with insurance regulations and tort reforms not putting the rest of us in a position to have socialized medicine, it doesn't work. Taxpayers end up paying even more and it won't just be the rich who are paying for this. Oh and don't forget about the "End of Life" part of the bill. You have a parent who needs a heart stint, they can be denied under this plan since they are near "the end of life" and you won't have any say over it. It's NOT free health care, somebody has to pay for it.
