Who thought that giving Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi a sitcom is a good idea? We refer you to her bit part in the tragically horrendous flick Glitter to deter you at once!
Variety is reporting that the pretty face has penned a deal with the Peacock for a half-hour comedy sitcom about " a woman working in the culinary world." At the moment, Padma and executive producer Charlie Corwin are still kicking around ideas.
If they want to waste their money, be our guest. But someone should turn on Top Chef every once in awhile and take a good, hard look at this girl's personality. When they realize she doesn't have any, then they'll cancel this thing ASAP.

She's a camelface that got famous by fucking Salman Rushdie and breaking up his 3rd marriage. She was a self-proclaimed model who never was on any covers EVER or in any runway shows - ever and bullshitted her way into Top Chef. She's useless. That show will NEVER EVER see the light of day.

She's so gross & oily. Plus, she had the biggest sideburns on the planet! This combined with her monotone, mouthful-of-shit sounding voice will send a sitcom into cancellation within weeks. Did anyone see her on a talkshow where she was a judge of some cooking? She was shoveling food into her giant craw & then licking Every Single Finger when she was done snorting her food down! Then she picked up some berries to decorate a cake!!! I doubt anyone ate that cake after that disgusting display! I was gagging left & right!
It could be entertaining. At least it won't be another police drama or hospital drama… I swear that's all that's ever on when I search the channels. I'm willing to give it a try.

The hilarious/mind boggling irony is that the producers wanted to replace the expressionless, deadpan Katie Lee Joel on Top Chef with the more "lively" (but in actuality just as boring, wooden and monotone) Padma Lakshmi. Fücking retarded TV execs…
