I have to agree with Mamajud -not about the asshat comment. There are way more important things going on in the world. Getting hung up on everything that goes on in the gay community and bitching about it only makes others get annoyed with your cause. I live in DC and have lived in silver spring. For as much slack that DC gets about this, we actually are very supportive of our gay community here. I personally am not, but my friends and I are always down for going to pride parades and protests and the annual drag race. I think the city actually does do a great job in being supportive. It is jerks like the one who broke the window that give us a bad name. One person doesn't define thousands.

The store has already announced it will not be intimated, and will not bow down to these freaks - that it will still stand up and defend their belief in gay rights and gay marriage.

why can't people just let other people BE!? it's a window display for christ's sake, i honestly doubt the sight of it burnt anyone's eyes. It's fine if they don't agree with homosexuality, but they could've just turned away or walked on the other side of the street!!!
