Dreams Come True For SuBo
On a very much talked-about appearance on the Today show this morning, Susan Boyle was given a double header of celebrity affection. First, actor/singer Donny Osmond sent his love to the Scottish sensation via remote hook up. He wished her a lot of luck with her career and even saw the future. He said: "Someday, I make a prediction you and I will do a record together, where we make Puppy Love."
Lord, we hope not!
Then, after the interview was over, SuBo got another surprise when her Broadway idol, Elaine Page, arrived to meet her. Susan was thrilled. She was reported saying to the actress: "Gosh, but it's a thrill for me to at last meet you, because I have been wanting to say hello and to meet you for some time now. So at last these lovely people have given me the opportunity to come and say hello to you."
Elaine was very gracious to Susan, replying that she "captured the imagination of the world."
How true. For how much longer, we can't say, but for now, still true.

Elaine Paige is actually NOT a broadway legend or idol. She only appeared once on broadway as a replacement in 'Sunset Boulevard' in the 90s. She is more like a West End legend…Which I don't understand….

For those of you who think that Susan is a flash in the pan, I challenge you to go to YouTube and listen to her recording of "Cry Me a River." If that doesn't convince you, take the taters out of your ears and listen again. I predict Susan's album will go platinum!
