Michelle Obama showed off some fierce new hair at a celebration of country music in the East Room of the White House on Tuesday.
We love the look and all, but shouldn't the government chee$e be spent on something a tad more vital to our well being?!
Just for starters: healthcare reform, our global economic crisis or the fight for equality?!

One of stated goals is to make the White House the "people's house" and feature a bevy of cultural events (I.e. music festivals, poetry slams, science fairs, lectures) that celebrate this country's past, present and future. This is an admiral feat in addition to what he's already trying to do with health care, the economy, and the myriad of legal troubles the Bush/Cheney admin. created while they were on watch.

-Really Perez? First of all people like to forget that the Obamas made a good living prior to moving into the White House. Michelle Obama worked as a lawyer and served as Vice President for Community and External Affairs for the University of Chicago Hospitals. President Obama generated income as a Senator as well as an author. Lets not forget that the President earns a yearly income as well. I don’t think that the Obamas dip into taxpayers money for their clothes and haircuts…and anyway I don’t think the cost of her haircut is somehow “vital to our well-being”.
