He doesn't seem to care that he's messed up his daughter's life or that he seems WAY more into her than his wife, second child, or grandchild. I took some time off after my last breakup to figure out why I kept dating jerks, and what do you know? A year later I met the best guy ever and married him. You're right, that's what Jess needs to do, I just don't think that as long as her father is around she'll ever be able to be alone to figure things out.
