Lindsanity Did Not Quite Bomb

Looks like some people are still paying attention to Lindsay Lohan because her made-for-TV flick, Labor Pains, managed to perform better than average.
The film premiered direct to cable on Sunday to 2.1 million viewers, according to the latest Nielsen rankings, which is half of what ABC earned for a showing of Harry Potter.
And if all those TV watchers had paid to see Lohan in a theatrical release of the film it would have potentially performed better than a Lohan flick has in a while.
But why pay for damaged goods when you can get them for free, right?????

Yeah, but saying that the number of viewers who saw the show would have gone to see the movie is ridiculous. t's like saying that since people watch a crappy TV movie that all Lifetime Movies should go to the theater.

I highly doubt that all those people would've seen it in theatres. Otherwise you would see all those Lifetime movies in theatres too.

OK I'll admit it I did watch it. Was it stellar acting? NO Was is more than mediocre at best? NO. Did my kids get bored watching it and leave the room? YES. I did not make it to the end either.
So give tv another shot or stick with your orange tan stuff…movies. Nah.
TV is free ergo people don't mind tuning in just to see how bad it is.

I watched the movie and thought it was cute. She did a good job. I'm not a huge Lilo fan but I do think everyone deserves to try to better themselves.

YEAH, UM, CONSIDERING THAT THERE IS NOTHING WORTH WATCHING ON TV THIS SUMMER, ITS NOT A SHOCK PEOPLE TUNED IN, AND BESIDES THAT, EVERYONE WANTED TO TUNE IN TO SEE THE TRAINWRECK LOHAN MOVIE THAT WAS SO BAD IT WENT STRAIGHT TO CABLE.
I recorded it on DVR. I figure it's free and I'm curious. But I might never even watch it, much less would I ever pay for tickets to see her in a movie. I think Rachel McAdams is poised to steal Lindsay's once promising career. Do it! Do it!
She is a good actress Mario, whether you like it or not! Yeh she is a bit of a mess but she's intelligent and certainly talented, really hope she gets back on track!!!

I watched the movie. I think Lindsay is actually a great actress just has many problems she needs to overcome. She has star power. Lindsay did a excellent job in the movie, but the movie itself was a little boring….i fell asleep halfway through. Perez leave Lindsday alone!!!! LMAO

Her acting wasn't bad. The directing, the overall look of the film was cheap. Lindsay wasn't so bad.

I like actors and actresses who are not above working in various mediums regardless of their perceived stature. Productive work is productive work, and some of the best presentations don't always have big money attached. Art is subjective; at least it should be.
